Published in London in 1867 by Bell and Daldy. With laid-in bookplate of Holbrook Jackson. George Holbrook Jackson (1874-1948) was a British journalist, writer and publisher, and one of the leading bibliophiles of his time. Xiii, 426pp. 6 ¼" high, marbled pastedowns and endpapers, three quarter green calf with five raised bands and gilt tooling to spine, boards marbled, all edges gilt. Spine head and tail are rubbed, as are corners. No markings, no foxing. Binding is tight, pages are clean.
