The LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to fave you, Deut. xxiii. 14. In war he fhall redeem thee from the sword. Through God we fhall do valiantly; for he it is that fhall tread down our enemies. 2 Chron. xiii. 12. Behold GOD himself is with us for our captain. Prov. iii. 25. Be not afraid of fudden fear, nor of the defolation of the wicked, when it cometh. Ver. 26. For the LORD fhall be thy confidence, and fhall keep thy foot from being taken. If. xli. II. Behold all they that were incensed against thee, fhall be afhamed and confounded they fhall fhall be as nothing, and they that ftrive with thee fhall perish. Ver. 12. Thou shall seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee. They that war against thee fhall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. Jer. xxxii. 17. I will deliver thee in that day, faith the Lord, and thou fhalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art afraid. Ver. 18. Deliverance from Enemies. 2 Kings vi. 16. Fear not, for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. 2 Chron. xiv. 11. LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power. 2 Kings xvii. 39. The LORD your GOD ye fhall fear, and he fhall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies. Pf. xvii. 7. Shew thy marvellous loving kindness, O thou that faveft by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee, from thofe that rife up against them. Pf. xxvii. 5. From OPPRESSION and INJUSTICE. Exod. xxii. 26. If thou at all take thy neighbour's raiment to pledge, thou shalt deliver it to him by that the fun geeth down. Ver. 27. For that is his covering only, it is his raiment for his fkin: Wherein fhall he fleep? And it shall come to pass, when he crieth unto me, that I will hear; for I am gracious. Pf. xii. 5. For the oppreffion of the poor, for the fighing of the needy, now will I arife, faith the LORD: I will fet him in fafety from him that puffeth at him. Pf. xxxv. 10.
