Acts 17.11. These were more noble than those in
Thesalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so. V.12. Therefore many of them believed: alfo of

Luke 10.26. What is written in the Law ? hop

ven preach any other Goffel. unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be ac
cursed. : V.g. As we said before, so say I now again, if
any man preach, any other Gospel unto you, than
that ye have received, let him be accursed. 2 Pet.3.15. And account that the long suffering of the Lord is salvation, even as our beloved
Brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given unto him, hath written unto you. V.16. As also in all his Epistles, speaking in
them of these things : in which are some things hard to be anderstood, which they that are sa learned, and unjšable, wrest, as they do also the
olher Scriptures, unto iheir own destruction, Mac.22.29. Fejus answered, and said unto them,
ye do erre not knowing the Scriptures, nor ibe V.31. But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken to
you by God, saying. Col.3.16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you
richly, in all wisdom, teaching, and admonishing one another in psalmes, and hymnes, and spiritual songs, singing with Grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Fourthly, Live continually as in the view of God, as in his fight and presence, being careful to approve thy heart and all thy waies unto him. Reinember chere is a broad, and a pure eye of Glory alwaies fixed upon thee God sees hearts,
, as we fee faces. There are three things in the beart of man to be especially heeded, and observed. Principles, Projects, and Ends. God fees what Principles chou actest from. Hee sees all the prójects and contrivances that are forging in thy
breast, and he sees wbat are the ends thou aimest ac in all thy undertakings. That is pure Religion, that eies God rather than man. In all tby
actions therefore, whether natural, moral, or spiritual, be carefull ftill to designe the Glory of God.
1. In naturall Axts, labour to have superna. tural aimes, i Cor.10.31. Whether ye cat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the Glory of God.
2. In civill A&s, such as the discharge of che duties of thy relacions, be careful so co walk as designing that God may have Glory by thy Faichtulnesse. For fo che Apostle advisech, Eph. 6.1. Children obey your Parents in the Lord, for this is right. V.5. Servants be obedient to them ibat are your Masters, according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleneß of heart as unto Chrift. V.6. Not with cie-service as men:pleafers, but as the servants of Christ
, doing the will of God from the heart. And Titus 2.9,10. Exhort Servants to be obedient to their own Masters, and to please them well in all things, not answering again. V.10. Not purloyning, but shewing will good fidelity, that they may adorn the Doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
