(9) “ Men,” &c.

This is part of St. Paul's address in the synagogue at Antioch, on the Sabbath-day: the Jews and rulers of the synagogue were present, and probably some Gentiles. (c) “ Another Psalm.” The

But their speaking languages they never learnt, was a point of all others in which they could not be deceived: they must know whether they had this faculty, and it could not have been conferred but by God, or by his permission.
