even your fanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication; that every one of you should know how to possess his vefsel in fanctification and honour;not in the lúlt of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God;that no man go beyond, and defraud his brother in any matter, because that the Lord is the avenger of all such as we also have forewarned you, and testihed. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but untoholiness.Hetherefore thatdespiseth, defpifeth not man, but God, who hath also given utito us his holy Spirit.

The Gospel. s; Matth. 15:21. Esys went thence, and departed into the coasts of J Tyre and Sidonać And behold,a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, faying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David, my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he anfweed her not a word. And his disciples came and befought him, saying, Send; her away, for she crieth after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent, but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendreth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth' to Jerusalem which, and is in bondage with her children. Bu Terusalem which is above is free; which is the mother of us all.For it is written, Rejoyce thou barren that beared not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the defolate hath many more children then she which hath an husband. Now we brethren,as Isaac was are the Children of promise. But as then, he that was born after the flefli, perfecuted him that was born after the spirit; even so it is now. Nevertheless, what faith the scripture! Cast out the bond-woman, and her son; for the son of the bond-woman shall not be heir with the son of the free-woman. So then brethren, we are not children of the bond-woman, but of the free.

The Gospel. S. John 6. 1. Esus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of

Tiberias. And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased. And Jesus went up into a mountain, and there he sat with his disciples. And the pailover, a feast of the Jews, was nigh. When Jefus then lift up his eyes, and saw a great company come unto him, he faith unto Philip, Whence shall we buy bread, that these may eat ? (And this he said to prove him; for he himselfknew what he would do.) Philip answered him, Two hundred peny-worth ofbread is not sufficient forthem that every one of them may take a little. One of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peters brother, faith unto him, There is a lad here, which hath five barley-loaves, and two small files : but what are they among so many ? And Jesus said, Make the men sit down. Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand. And Tesus took the loaves and when he had given thanks, he distributed

Therefore they gathered them together and filledtwelve baskets with the fragments of the five barley-loaves, which remained over and above unto them that had eaten. Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world.

The Collect.
E beseech thee, Almighty God, mercifully to

look upon thy people;that by thy great goodness they may be governed and preserved evermore both in body and soul, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Epistle. Heb. 9.11.
Hrist being come an high priest of good things to

come,by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands; that is say, not of this building.; neither by the blood of goats and calves; but by his own blood he entred in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. For if the blood of bulls, and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh; how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the Mediatour of che new Testament, that by means of death, for the rełemption of the transgressions that were under the first Testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
