Pfalm Ixxxii. 1, 2, God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. How long will ye judge unjully, and accept the perfons of the wicked? Selah. v. 5, They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darknefs; all the foundations of the earth are out of courfe.

r Pfalm cxix. 176, I have gone aftray like a loft sheep, feek thy fervant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Heb. x. 39, But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition: but of them that believe, to the faving of the foul.

Eph. iv. 8, Wherefore he (David) faith, When he afcended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. Rom. i. 4, Jefus Christ our Lord, was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness by the refurrection from the dead.

Rom. viii. 3, God fent his own Son, in the likeness of finful flesh, and for fin condemned fin in the flesh. John i. 14, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth. Luke i. 35, And the angel answered and faid unto Mary, the Holy Ghoft fhall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest fhall overfhadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee, shall be called the Son of God. Heb. ii. 16, For verily, he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the feed of Abraham. And vii. 26, 27, For fuch an High Priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from finners, and made higher than the heavens; who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up facrifice, first for his own fins, and then for the people's; for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

Ifa. liii. 5, 6, All we like sheep have gone aftray; we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. 2 Cor. v. 21, God hath made Christ to be fin for us, who knew no fin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Matth. xx. 28, The fon of man came to

give his life a ransom for many.

m Rom. iii. 25, Whom God hath fet forth to be a propitiation, through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remiffion of fins that are past, through the forbearance of God. Acts xx. 28, Feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. BRANCH-he fhall build the temple of the Lord, and he fhall bear the glory. Heb. xii. 2, Jefus, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despifing the flame, &c.

Psalm xlv. 7, Thou loveft righteousness, and hatest wickednefs, therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
