ning the Lords body. iCor.10.16. The Cup of blessing which we blesse,

is it not the Communion of the blood of Christ? the bread which we break, is it not the Commy. nion of the body of Christ ? V.17. For we being many are one bread, and one body, for we are all pariakers of that one bread. V.21. Ye cannot drink the Cup of the Lord, and the Cap of Devils : we cannot be partakers of

the Lords table, and of the table of devils. Cor.12.13. Fer by one Spirit are we all baprized

into one body, whether we be fews, or Gentiles, whether webe bond, or free, and have been al

made to drink into one Spirit. Acts 20:17. And upon

the first day of the week, when the Disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow, and continued his speech untill

midnight. 1 Cor.5.6. Your glorying is not good; knon ge

net that a little leaven, leaveneth the whole lump? V.7. Purge out therefore the old leaven, that may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened, for

even Christ our Passeover is sacrificed for us. A&s 2.41. Then they that gladly received his

word, were baptized: and the same day there were added into them about three thousand

foules. V.42. And they continued stedfastly in the Apostles Doctrine, and Fellowship, and in brea

king of bread, and in prayers. 2 Thel.3.6. Now we command you brethren, in

the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw your selves from every Brother that walketh disorderij, and not after the tradition which he received of us. V.14 Ardif any man obey not our word, by this Epistle, note that man, and have no company

7. What they are effectually Called unco,and through the assistance of the Spirit

of God enabled to perform, that fhall receive Remission of i

fins by Chrift: They that shall be made partakers of that great and ineftimable benefit, the Remission of all their sins by Chrift, are effectually called and enabled by the assistance of his Grace, uofeignedly to believe the Gospel, heartily to repent of ail their fins, seriously to give up their fouls unto himn, resting and relying on the Redeniprion and Ransome of his Blood for their Pardon and Reconciliation with God. And taking him for their onely Lord & Saviour, and yielding themselves up in fincerc obedience to him, and to be guided and governed by his Grace and Holy Spirit; they do depend on him alone for Justificacion, Sançtification, strength to persevere in the ways of Holincsle,and ac last, to be brought to eternall Life. And to as many as are thus drawn by the Holy Ghoft savingly

to repent of their fins, and believe in Christ, í being truly united to him, and made branches

in him the crue Vine, and members of his mystical body the crue Church, (whereof himself is the Head,) God hath promised pardon and Re: mission of all their fins, to write his Law in their Heares, to subdue their Corruptions by his Grace, that fin shall not have Dominion over them, to bestow on them all such outward blessings as he in his infinite wisdome shall see good for them; And when they die, their souls . shall be received inco everlasting blisse, and their bodies shall be raised again by the power


of Christ at the last day, and made partakers of the same Glory. And this is called the Covenant of Grace. But such as go on in their sins, refusing to accept of Christ, for their Lord and Saviour,Redeemer and Sanctifier, and to give up themselves in sincere obedience to him ; when they die, their Souls shall be adjudged to everlasting punishment; and their bodies shall be raised again at the last day, and made partakers with their Souls of Everlasting Torments.

Concerning effectual Calling,
