2. How he became man; He was born (about fixteed hundred and odd years ago) of the Virgin Mary, who was of the secd of Abraham, and of the Family of David, as was forecold in the Scriptures, being Conceived in her by the Almighty power of the Holy Ghost, without the help of man, and without sin; and was Called Jesus Christ.

Gal.4.4. But when the fulnesse of time was come,

God sent forth his son, made of a woman, made wnder the Law. V.5. To redeem them that were under the Law,

that we might receive the adoption of Sons. Mat.1.18. Now the Birth of Fesus Christ was on

this wise, when as his mother Mary was espoused to Foseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost. V.20. But while be thought on these things, bebold, the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, Foseph, thou jon of David, Fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife, for that which is conceived in ker is of the Holy

Ghost. V.22. Now all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the Propher, Saying V.23. Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall Call his Name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is


God with us.

Luke 1.26. And in the sixth moneth the Angel

Gabriel was sent from God, unto 4 City of Galilee, named

Nazareth. V.27. To á Virgin espoused to a man, whose

name was fofeph, of the house of David, and the Virgins name was Mary, V.28. And the Angel came in unto her, and

said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: Blessed Art thou among

women. V.30. And the Angel said unto her, fear not

Mary, for thou haft found favour with God. V.31. And behold, thou shalt conceive in thy

womb, and bring forth a Son, and fhalt Call

his name Fefus. V.32. He shall be great, and be called the son

of the Highest; and the Lord shall give unto him the Throne of his Father David. V.33. And he shall reign over the House of Fas cob

3. How he Lived ; He Lived about three and thirty years here upon Earth, a most holy, innocent, finless Life, performing perfect obedience to the Law of God. And as the great Prophet of God (who was promised, Deut.18. 15. AEts 3. 22.) he declared his Fachers will in bis heavenly discoorses, and Sermons, and

Wrought wrought many miracles to confirm his doctrine, and co prove himself the true Meffias, and the Ecernal Son of God.


i Pet.2.22. Who did no fin, neither was guile
