The Holy and happy estate in which God created min at first, Namely, after his own Image, in Knowledge, Holineffe, and Righteousnesse, wich Dominion over the Creatures here below, writing his Law on mans ticart, requiring perfect obedience froin him and


giving him power to perform it, promising the continuance of bim in that happy estate if he on beyed, and threatning him with death if he disobeyed; which is called the Covenant of works.

Pfal.8.4. What is man that thou art mindful of
