ment but ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment is God's: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring it unto me, and I will hear it.

Deut. 16:18. Judges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy gates, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment. 19. Thou shalt not wrest judgment; thou shalt not respect persons, neither take a gift: for a gift doth blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words of the righteous. 20. That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Deut. 19:16. If a false witness rise up against any man to testify against him that which is wrong; 17. Then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, which shall be in those days; 18. And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely against his brother; 19. Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the evil away from among you.

1 Sam. 8:3. And his sons walked not in his ways, but turned aside after lucre, and took bribes, and perverted judgment.

Psa. 58:1. Do ye indeed speak righteousness, O congregation? do ye judge uprightly, O ye sons of men? 2. Yea, in heart ye work wickedness; ye weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.

Psa. 72:1. Give the king thy judgments, O God, and thy righteousness unto the king's son. 2. He shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. 4. He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor. vs. 12-14.
