For whether is greater, he that fitteth at meat, or he that ferveth? is not he that fitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that ferveth. Ye are they which have continued with me in my. temptations: and I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and fit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having faved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward deftroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their firft eftate, but left their own habitation, he hath referved in everlafting chains, under darkness, unto the judgement of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them, in like manner, giving themfelves over to fornication, and going after firange tleth, are fet forth for an example, fuffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewife alfo thefe filthy dreamers defile the flefla, defpife dominion, and fpeak evil of dignities.
