48 And thou shalt give the money wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed unto Aaron and to his ions.

49 And Mofes took the redemption-money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites.

so Of the first-born of the children of Ifrael took he the money; a thoufand three hundred and threescore and five hekels, af. ter the fhekel of the fanctuary.

51 And Mofes gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his fons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Molcs.

2 Take the fum of the fons of Kohath from among the fons of Levi, after their families, by the houfe of their fathers;

3 From thirty years old and upward, even until fifty years old, all that enter into the hot to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

4 This fall be the fervice of the fons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation about the most holy things.

5 And when the camp fetteth forward, Aaron fhall come, and his fons, and they shall take down the covering veil, and cover the ark of teftimony with it;

6 And fhall put thereon the covering of badgers' (kins, and fhall fpread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and hall put in the ftaves thereof.

7 And upon the table of fhew-bread they fall fpread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread fhall be thereon.

8 And they fhall fpread upon them a cloth of fearlet, and cover the fame with a cover Ing of badgers' ikins, and thall put in the ftaves thereof.

4) And they fhall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candleftick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his fnuff-difhes, and all the oil-veifels thereof, wherewith they minifter unto it

11 And upon the golden altar they fhall fpread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' ikins, and thall put to the flaves thereof.

12 And they shall take all the inftruments of miniftry, wherewith, they minifter in the fanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers fkins, and fhall put them on a bar.

13 And they hall take away the afhes from the altar, and fpread a purple cloth thereon: 14 And they shall put upon it all the veffels thereof, wherewith they minifter about it. even the cenfers, the flesh-hooks, and the Thovels, and the bafons, all the veffels of the altar; and they thall spread upon it a cover.

16 And to the office of Eleazar the fon of Aaron the prieft pertaineth the oil for the light, and the fweet incenfe, and the daily meat-offering, and the anointing cil, and the oversight of ail the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the fanctuary, and in the veffels thereof.

And the LORD fpake unto Mofes and unto Aaron, faying,

18 Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:

19 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the mott holy things; Aaron and his fons fhall go in, and appoint them every one to his fervice, and to his burden

20 But they shall not goin to fee when the holy things are covered, left they die. 21 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

22 Take alfo the fum of the fons of Ger fhon, throughout the house of their fathers, by their families:

23 From thirty years old and upward un til fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the fervice, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congre gation.

24 This is the fervice of the families of the Gershonites, to ferve, and for burdens.

25 And they fhall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the con gregation, his covering, and the covering the badgers' ikins that is above upon it, an the hanging for the door of the tabernacle the congregation.

26 And the hangings of the court, and th hangings for the door of the gate of the cour which is by the tabernacle, and by the al round about, and their cords, and all the la ftruments of their fervice, and all that a made for them: fo fhall they ferve.

27 At the appointment of Aaron and fons fhall be all the fervice of the fons of t Gerfhonites, in all their burdens, and inst their fervice: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.

28 This is the fervice of the families of the fons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge ball be der the hand of Ithamar the fon of Aaron th priest.

29 As for the fons of Merari, thow tha number them after their families, by th houfe of their fathers:

45 Thefe be thofe that were numbered of the families of the fons of Merari, whom Moles and Aaron numbered, according to the word of the Logo by the hand of Mofes.

46 All thofe that were numbered of the Levites, whom Mofes and Aaron and the chief of Ifrael numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers;

47 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old every one that came to do the fervice of the ministry, and the fervice of the burden in the tabernacle of the con. gregation;

48 Even thofe that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and 'fourfcore.

49 According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Mofes, every one according to his fervice, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Mofes.

AND the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

Command the children of Ifrael, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an iffue, and whofoever is defiled by the dead:

3 Both male and female fhall ye put out, without the camp thall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midft whereof I dwell.

4 And the children of Ifrael did fo, and put them out without the camp: as the Logo fpake unto Mofes, fo did the children of Ifrael.

S¶ And the LORD spake unto Mofes, fay

ing,

6 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, When a man or woman thall commit any fin that nien commit, to do a trefpafs against the LORD, and that perfon be guilty;

7 Then they hall confefs their fin which they have done: and he thall recompenfe his trefpafs with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto bim against whom he hath trefpaffed.

8 But if the man have no kinfman to recom. penfe the trefpafs unto, let the trefpafs be recompenfed unto the LORD, even to the pricft, befide the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement thall be made for him.

9 And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Ifrael, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.

10 And every man's hallowed things fhall be his: whatfoever any man giveth the priest, it fhall be his.

12 Speak unto the children of Ifrael, and fay unto them, If any man's wife go afide, and commit a trefpafs against him,

13 And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept clofe, and the be defiled, and there be no witnefs against her, neither the be taken with the manner;

14 And the fpirit of jealoufy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and the be defiled; or if the fpirit of jealoufy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and the be not defiled:

15 Then fhall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he thall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley-meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankin cenfe thereon; for it is an offering of jealoufy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

16 And the priest fhall bring her near, and fet her before the LORD.

17 And the priest thall take holy water in an earthen veffel; and of the duft that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest thall take, and put it into the water.

18 And the prieft fhall fet the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealoufy-offering; and the priest thall have in his hand the bitter water that caufeth the curse.

19 And the priest thall charge her by an oath, and fay unto the woman, If no man have lien with thee, and if thou haft not gone ande to uncleannefs with another instead of

NUMBER S. thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that caufeth the curfe:

20 But if thou haft gone afide to another Instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and fome man hath lain with thee beside thine husband ;

21 Then the prieft fhall charge the woman with an oath of curfing; and the priest shall fay unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curle and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to fwell:

22 And this water that causeth the curfe fhall go into thy bowels, to make thy belly to fwell, and thy thigh to rot. And the woman thall fay, Anien, amen.

23 And the priest shall write these curfes in a book, and he thall blot them out with the bitter water;

24 And he fhall caufe the woman to drink the bitter water that caufeth the curfe: and the water that caufeth the curfe fhall enter into her, and become bitter.

25 Then the priest fhall take the jealousy. offering out of the woman's hand, and fhali wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar.

26 And the priest fhall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and hurn it upon the altar, and afterward fhall cause the woman to drink the water.

27 And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that if the be defiled, and have done trefpafs against her husband, that the water that caufeth the curfe thall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly thall (well, and her thigh fhall yot: and the woman shall be a curfe among her people.

28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then the fhall be free, and fhall conceive feed.

29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth afide to another instead of her husband, aud is defiled;

30 Or when the fpirit of jealoufy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and fhall fet the woman before the LORD, and the priest fhall execute upon her all this - law,

Then fhall the man be guiltlefs from ini, quity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity. CHAP. VI.

1 The law of the Nazarites. 22 The form of bleng the people.

AND the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying,

2 Speak unto the children Ifrael, and fay unto them, When either man or woman thall feparate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite to separate themselves unto the LORD;

3 He fhall feparate himself from wine, and ftrong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of ftrong drink, neither fhall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moift grapes, or dried.

4 All the days of his feparation fhall he cat nothing that is made of the vine-tree, from the kernels even to the huik.

5 All the days of the vow of his feparation there thall no razor come upon his head; until the days be fulfilled, in the which he feparateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.

The law of the Nazarites.

6 All the days that he feparateth himself unto the LORD, he thall come at no dead body.

7 He shall not make himfelf unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his fifter, when they die; because the confecration of his God is upon his head.

8 All the days of his feparation he is holy unto the LORD.

9 And if any man die very fuddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his confecra. tion; then he shall have his head in the day of his cleaning, on the seventh day fhall he fhave it.

10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the prieft, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

II And the prieft thall offer the one fora fin-offering, and the other for a burnt-offer ing, and make an atonement for him, for that he finned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that fame day.

12 And be fhall confecrate unto the LORD the days of his feparation, and thall bring a lamb of the first year for a trefpafs-offering: but the days that were before thall be loft, be caufe his feparation was defiled.

13 And this is the law of the Nazarite: When the days of his feparation are fulfilled, he fhall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation;

14 And he fhall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he-lamb of the first year without biemim for a burnt-offering, and one ewe. lamb of the first year without blemish for a fin-offering, and one ram without blemish or peace-offerings,

16 And the priest fhall bring them before the LORD, and thall offer his fin-offering, and his burnt-offering.

17 And he thall offer the ram for a facrifice of peace-offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest thall offer alfo his meat-offering, and his drink-oftering.

18 And the Nazarite shall fhave the head of his feparation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation; and fhall take the hair of the head of his feparation, and put it in

the fire which is under the facrifice of the

peace-offerings.

19 And the priest shall take the fodder fhoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and thall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his feparation is thaven :

20 And the prieft fhall wave them for a wave-offering before the LORD; this is holy for the priest, with the wave-breaft and heave. thoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.

21 This is the lawof the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his feparation, befides that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, fo he muff do alter the law of his feparation.

24¶On the third day Eliab the fon of Helon,

ancinted it, and fanctified it, and all the inftruments thereof, both the altar and all the vefels thereof, and had anointed them, and fanctified them,

2 That the princes of Ifrael, heads of the house of their fathers, (who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered,) offered.

3 And they brought their offering before the LORD, fix covered waggons, and twelve oxen; a waggon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.

4 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes, faying, Take it of them, that they may be to do the fervice of the tabernacle of the congregation; and thou shalt give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his fervice.

And Mofes took the waggons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites. 1 Two waggons and four oxen he gave unto the fons of Gerthon, according to their fervice. 8 And four waggons and eight oxen he gave unto the fons of Merari, according unto their fervice, under the hand of Ithamar the fon of Aaron the priest.

9 But unto the fons of Kohath he gave Bone; because the fervice of the fanctuary be. Jonging unto them was, that they should bear upon their thoulders.

10 And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar, in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering betore the altar.

And the LORD faid unto Mofes, They hall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.

12 And he that offered his offering the firit day was Nahthon the fon of Amminadab, of the tribe of Judah.

13 And his offering was one filver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty pekels, one filver bowl of feventy fhekels, after the thekel of the fanctuary, both of them were full of fine flour mingled with oil, for a meat-offering:

14 One spoon of ten bekels of gold, full of Incense:

15 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:

16 One kid of the goats for a fin-offering:

And for a facrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Nahthon, the fon of Amminadab.

18On the fecond day Nethaneel the fon of Zuar, prince of Iffachar, did offer.

32 One golden spoon of ten bekels, full of incenfe:

33 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:

36 On the fifth day Shelumiel the son of Zurifhaddai, prince of the children of Simeon, did offer.

37 His offering was one filver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty bekels, one filver bowl of feventy thekels, after the thekel of the fanctuary, both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil, for a meat-offering:

38 One golden fpoon of ten bekels, full of incenfe:

39 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:

40 One kid of the goats for a fin-oftering: 41 And for a facrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the firit year. This was the offering of Shelumiel the fon of Zurishaddai.

75 One young builock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt-offering:

76 One kid of the goats for a fin-offering: 77 And for a facrifice of peace-offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he-goats, five lambs of the first year. This was the offering of Pagiel the fon of Ocran.

78 On the twelfth day Ahira, the fon of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali, offered.

79 His offering was one filver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty bekels, one filver bowl of feventy thekeis, after the thekel of the fanctuary, both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil, for a meat-offering:

80 One golden fpoon of ten hekels, full of incenfe :

84 This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed by the princes of Ifrael: twelve chargers of Giver, twelve filver bowls, twelve fpoons of gold;

85 Each charger of filver weighing an hun dred and thirty rekels, each bowi feventy: all the filver vefels weighed two thousand and four hundred bekels, after the fhekel of the fanctuary.

86 The golden fpoons were twelve, full of incenfe, weighing ten bekels apiece, after the fhekel of the fanctuary: all the gold ofthe fpoons was an hundred and twenty hekels.

87 All the oxen forthe burnt-offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their meat offering and the kids of the goats, for in offering, twelve.

88 And all the oxen for the facrifice of the peace-offerings were twenty and four bul locks, the rams fixty, the he-goats fixty, the lambs of the first year fixty. This wal the dedication of the altar, after that it was anoisted.

89 And when Mofes was gone into the t bernacle of the congregation to fpeak with him, then he heard the voice of one fpeaking unto him from off the mercy-feat that was upon the ark of teftimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spake unto him.
