Tearing Down Strongholds

Front Cover
William Carey Library, 1993 - Biography & Autobiography - 366 pages
The author shares some of the things learned, as young workers have been taking the gospel into unreached areas in Taiwan where powers of darkness have held sway for centuries. These idolatrous villages are truly bulwarks of the enemy, and the insights being gained there will inspire and instruct God's soldiers wherever they seek to penetrate enemy strongholds.

About the author (1993)

Richard Webster is a missionary with The Evangelical Alliance Mission (T.E.A.M.) in Taiwan. In 1947 he sailed for mainland China to begin his missionary career. Szechuan Province, where he served, was finally taken by the Communists, and only with great difficulty did the Webster family gain their exit. God led them next to the students of Taiwan, where he and his wife Flo had a part in building the Campus Evangelical Fellowship stu-dent movement. For over 30 years, they have been active throughout the Island, training, counseling, and speaking to stu-dents. Another special involvement has been encouraging and building up young Christian workers, whether they be Chinese or missionaries.
