All things are yours, whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours. 1 Cor. iii. 21, 22.

Godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 1 Tim. iv. 8.

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, &c. Rom. i. 29. They which commit such things are worthy of death. 32.

The ungodly are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Psalm i. 4.

Temporal Support promised.

God said, Behold I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth; and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree, yielding seed: to you it shall be for meat. Gen. i. 29.

Serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread and thy water. Exod. xxiii. 25.

If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God; blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field; blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, and the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep; blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Deut. xxviii. 12-5.

The Lord hath visited his people, in giving them bread. Ruth i. 6.

Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord, that walketh in his ways. For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands; happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. Ps. cxxviii,

Temporal Want threatened.

They shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment; that they may want bread and water, and be astonied one with another, and consume away for their iniquity. Ezek. iv. 16, 17.

The expectation of the wicked shall perish. Prov. x. 28.

When the land sinneth against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out my hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it. Ezek. xiv.

The belly of the wicked shall want. Prov. xiii. 25.

I will kill thy root with famine. Isaiah xiv. 30,

Trust in the Lord and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Psalm xxxvii. 3.

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the first fruits of all thine increase; so shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. Prov. iii. 9, 10.

He that walketh righteously, bread shall be given him, and his waters shall be sure. Isaiah xxxiii. 15, 16.

Behold my servants shall eat. Isaiah lxv. 13.

Behold my servants shall drink. Isa. lxv. 13.

They shall build houses, and inhabit them; they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them. They shall not build and another inhabit, they shall not plant and another eat; for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands. They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord. Isa. lxv. 21-23.

I will send you corn and wine. Joel ii. 19.

So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man. Prov. xxiv. 34.

The belly of the wicked shall want. Prov. xiii. 25.

Thou shalt serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things. Deut. xxviii. 48.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Pet. v. 7.

They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment. The land shall be desolate, and ye shall know that I am the Lord. Ezekiel xii. 19, 20.

Support and Deliverance in Trouble & Danger promised.

The Eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms: and he shall thrust out the enemy from before thee. Deut. xxxiii. 27

The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm ix. 9.

In the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion, in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me upon a rock. Psalm xxvii. 5.

When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the Lord will hear them, I the God of Israel will not forsake them. I will open rivers in high places, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. Isa. xli. 17,

18.

When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee. When thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned, neither shall the flame kindle upon thee: for I am the Lord thy God. Isa. xliii. 2, 3.

Calamities and Destruction threatened.

And the Lord said, I will destroy man, whom I have created, from the face of the earth, for it repenteth me that I have made man. Gen. vi. 7.

I kill, and I make alive: I wound, and I heal; neither is there any who can deliver out of my hand. Deut. xxxii. 39.

Behold the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth. Isa. xxvi. 21.

As I live, saith the King, whose name is The Lord of Hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea; so shall he come. O thou daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish thyself to go into captivity; for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant. Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction cometh. Jer. xlvi. 18-20.

I will deliver thee to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in thee, and make their dwellings in thee: they shall eat thy fruit, and they shall drink thy milk. Ezek. xxv. 4.

The beloved of the Lord shall dwell in safety by him, and the Lord shall cover him all the day long. Deut. xxxiii.

Remember, I pray thee, who ever perished being innocent? or when were the righteous cut off? Job iv. 7.

Will he plead against me with his great power? No, but he would put strength in me. Job xxiii. 6.

Thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee. Job v. 23.

Thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety also thou shalt lie down, and none shall make thee afraid. Job xi. 18, 19.

He shall deliver thee in six troubles; yea, in seven, shall no evil touch thee. v. 19.

The Lord will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Psalm ix. 9.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer: my God, my strength in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalm xviii. 2. I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their task masters: for I know their sorrows, and I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians. Exod. iii. 7, 8.

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in him. Nahum i. 7.

Woe unto them, for they have fled from me! Destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me. Hos. vii. 13.

I will cast you out of my sight. Jer. vii. 15.

I will punish you for all your iniquities. Amos iii. 2.

I will consume man and beast, and the stumbling blocks, with the wicked. Zeph. i. 3.

Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities: therefore I will bring forth a fire, and it shall devour thee, and bring thee to ashes. Ezek. xxviii. 18.

The wicked is reserved to the day of destruction: they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath. Job xxi. 30.

Surely thou wilt slay the wicked, O God, Psalm cxxxix.

I will utter all my judgments, saith the Lord, against them, touching all their wickedness. Jer. i. 16.

The Lord shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly, because of the wickedness of thy doings whereby thou hast forsaken me. Deut. xxviii. 20.

Darkness shall pursue his enemies. Nahum i. 8.

Come unto me, all labour, and are heavy and I will give you rest. xi. 28.

We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken, cast down but not destroyed. 2 Cor. iv. 8, 9.

Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed against me. Hos. vii. 13.

Upon the wicked, God shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest; this shall be the portion of their cup. Psalm xi. 6.

Long Life promised.

You shall walk in all the ways which the Lord your God hath commanded you, that ye may live, and that it may be well with you, and that ye may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess. Deut. v. 33.

That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee; thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life, and that thy days may be prolonged. Deut. vi. 2.

If thou wilt walk in my ways, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as thy father David did walk, then I will lengthen thy days. 1 Kings

iii. 14.

With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Psalm xci. 16.

My son, forget not my law, but let thine heart keep my commandments; for length of days, and long life, and peace shall they add to thee. Prov. iii. 1, 2.

Early Death threatened.

But thou, O God, shalt bring them down into the pit of destruction; bloody and deceitful men shall not live out half their days. Psalm lv. 23.

They will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other Gods; so will the anger of the Lord be kindled against you, and destroy thee suddenly. Deut. vii. 4.

Her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead. Prov. ii. 18.

He preserveth not the life of the wicked. Job. xxxvi. 6.

The wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it. Prov. ii. 22.
