I heard the voice of Jesus say, "Come unto Me and rest; Lay down, thou weary one, lay down Thy head up-on My breast."

came to Jesus as I was, Wea-ry, and worn, and sad; I found in Him a rest-ing-place, And He has made me glad.

The Lord is rich and mer-ciful, The Lord is ver-y kind; .

O, come to Him,come

now to Him, With a be - liev-ing mind. His com-forts,they shall strengthen thee, Like

flow-ing wa-ters cool; And He shall for thy spirit be A

fountain ever full.

And he who would the Father seek,
Must seek Him, Lord, by Thee.

2 Thou art the Truth: Thy word alone
True wisdom can impart;
Thou only canst inform the mind,
And purify the heart.

3 Thou art the Life: the rending tomb Proclaims Thy conquering arm,

And those who put their trust in Thee
Nor death, nor hell shall harm.

4 Thou art the Way, the Truth, the Life;
Grant us that Way to know,
That Truth to keep, that Life to win,
Whose joys eternal flow.

COME to the Saviour now,
He gently calleth thee;
In true repentance bow,
Before Him bend the knee;
He waiteth to bestow

Salvation, peace, and love, True joy on earth below,

A home in heaven above.

2 Come to the Saviour now, Ye who have wandered far, Renew your solemn vow,

For His by right you are; Come, like poor wandering sheep Returning to His fold; His arm will safely keep,

His love will ne'er grow cold. 3 Come to the Saviour, all,

Whate'er your burdens be;
Hear now His loving call,
"Cast all your care on Me."
Come, and for every grief
In Jesus you will find
A sure and safe relief,
A loving Friend and kind.

TO-DAY the Saviour calls!

Ye wanderers, come;

O ye benighted souls,
Why longer roam?

2 To-day the Saviour calls;

O listen now;
Within these sacred walls
To Jesus bow.

3 To-day the Saviour calls!
For refuge fly;

The storm of vengeance falls,
Ruin is nigh.

4 The Spirit calls to-day;

Yield to His power;

O grieve Him not away,

'Tis mercy's hour.
