5. Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth. Hallelujah.

7. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Hallelujah.

8. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see GOD. Hallelujah.

righteousness' sake for theirs' is the kingdom of heaven.

11. Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12. Rejoice and be exceeding glad for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. [J. S. SMITH.

1. LET GOD arise, and let his enemies be scattered : let them also that hate him flee before him.

2. Like as the smoke vanisheth, so shalt thou drive them away and like as wax melteth at the fire, so let the ungodly perish at the presence of GOD.

3. But let the righteous be glad and rejoice before God let them also be merry and joyful.

4. Sing unto God, and sing praises unto his Name: praise him in his Name JAH, and rejoice before him. 5. He is a father of the fatherless.

6. He bringeth the prisoners out of captivity.

7. O GOD, when thou wentest forth before the people when thou wentest through the wilderness, 8. The earth shook, and the heavens dropped at the presence of GOD even as Sinai also was moved at the presence of God, who is the God of Israel.

9. Thou, O GOD, sentest a gracious rain upon thine inheritance and refreshedst it when it was weary.

20. Sing praises unto him who is the God of our salvation.

32. Sing unto GOD, O ye kingdoms of the earth : O sing praises unto the LORD.

35. Blessed be GOD.

cxxxii. 8. Arise, O LORD, into thy restingplace: thou, and the ark of thy strength. Hallelujah. Amen. [Greene, HandEL, BECKWITH jun., COMER.

170. Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.

171. My lips shall speak of thy praise: when thou hast taught me thy statutes.

172. Yea, my tongue shall speak of thy word for all thy commandments are righteous.

173. Let thine hand help me : for I have chosen thy commandments.

174. I have longed for thy saving health, O LORD: and in thy law is my delight.

1. LIKE as the hart desireth the water-brooks: so longeth my soul after thee, O God.

2. My soul is athirst for God, yea, even for the living GOD when shall I come to appear before the presence of GOD?

:

3. My tears have been my meat day and night : while they daily say unto me, Where is now thy GOD?

4. Now when I think thereupon, I pour out my heart by myself: for I went with the multitude, and brought them forth into the house of God;

5. In the voice of praise and thanksgiving: among such as keep holy-day.

6. Why art thou so full of heaviness, O my soul : and why art thou so disquieted within me?

7. O put thy trust in GoD: for I will yet give him thanks for the help of his countenance.

8. My GOD, my soul is vexed within me : therefore will I remember thee.

11. I will say unto the GoD of my strength: Why hast thou forgotten me?

xliii. 2. For thou art the GoD of my strength; why hast thou put me from thee: and why go I so heavily, while the enemy oppresseth me?

3. O send out thy light and thy truth, that they may lead me and bring me unto thy holy hill, and to thy dwelling.
