12. Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like my sorrow.

15. The LORD hath trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he hath called an assembly against me, to crush my young men: the LORD hath trodden under foot the virgin, the daughter of Zion.

16. For these things I weep: mine eye runneth down with water: because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me.

11. See, O LORD, and consider: for I am become [WISE, BELLAMY.

JOB Xxix. 14. He put on righteousness, and it clothed him his judgment was a robe and a diadem.

11. When the ear heard him, then it blessed him : and when the eye saw him, it gave witness of him.

12. He delivered the poor that cried: the fatherless, and him that had no helper.

Kindness, meekness, and comfort were in his tongue.

23. THEY that go down to the sea in ships and occupy their business in great waters;

24. These men see the works of the LORD and his wonders in the deep.

25. For at his word the stormy wind ariseth: which lifteth up the waves thereof.

26. They are carried up to the heaven, and down again to the deep their soul melteth away because of the trouble.

27. They reel to and fro, and stagger like a drunken man : and are at their wit's end.

28. So when they cry unto the LORD in their trouble; he delivereth them out of their distress.

29. For he maketh the storm to cease: so that the waves thereof are still.

30. Then are they glad, because they are at rest: and so he bringeth them unto the haven where they would be.

31. O that men would therefore praise the LORD for his goodness and declare the wonders that he doeth for the children of men!

32. That they would exalt him also in the congregation of the people and praise him in the seat of the elders!

22. We will tell out his works with gladness.

PSALM 1XV.

1. THOU, O GOD, art praised in Sion

and unto

thee shall the vow be performed in Jerusalem. 2. Thou that hearest the prayer: unto thee shall all flesh come.

3. My misdeeds prevail against me: O be thou merciful unto our sins.

4. Blessed is the man, whom thou choosest, and receivest unto thee: he shall dwell in thy court, and shall be satisfied with the pleasures of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

5. Thou shalt shew us wonderful things in thy righteousness, O GOD of our salvation: thou that art the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of them that remain in the broad sea.

7. Thou stillest the raging of the sea and the noise of his waves, and the madness of the people.

9. Thou visitest the earth, and blessest it: thou makest it very plenteous.

12. Thou crownest the year with thy goodness : and thy clouds drop fatness.

13. They shall drop upon the dwellings of the wilderness and the little hills shall rejoice on every side.

14. The folds shall be full of sheep the valleys also shall stand so thick with corn, that they shall laugh and sing.

lxxxix. 9. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy Name: O deliver us, and be merciful unto our sins, for thy Name's sake.

lxxx. 3. Turn us again, O LORD: shew the light of thy countenance, and we shall be whole.

GOD as our GOD?

15. Thou hast mightily delivered thy people: even the sons of Jacob and Joseph.

16. The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee, and were afraid : the depths also were troubled. 17. The clouds poured out water, the air thundered and thine arrows went abroad.

18. The voice of thy thunder was heard round about the lightnings shone upon the ground; the earth was moved, and shook withal.

19. Thy way is in the sea, and thy paths in the great waters and thy footsteps are not known. 20. Thou leddest thy people like sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron. Hallelujah. Amen. [PURCELL, M. CAMIDGE.

108. Let the free-will offerings of my mouth please thee, O LORD and teach me thy judgments.

:

110. The ungodly have laid a snare for me but yet I swerved not from thy commandments.
