JUDGES v. 2. Praise ye the LORD, for the avenging of Israel. Hallelujah. Praise the LORD. ,

3. Hear, 0 ye kings ! give ear, O ye princes ! I will sing unto the LORD: I will sing praises to the LORD our God.

4. LORD, when thou wentest forth, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped.

5. The mountains melted from before the LORD, even Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.

12, 16. Awake, awake, O daughter of Israel; arise, sing praises to our God. Why abidest thou among the sheepfolds ? O daughter of Israel, awake, arise, sing praises to our God.

31. Let them that love thee, O LORD, be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might: but let all thine enemies perish, O LORD. Hallelujah. Amen.

Praise his awful Name, who was, and is, and is to come! Praise to him who giveth immortality : all glory and majesty surround his throne. He alone is mighty, and he alone is great. Worship and adore him ! Praise ! glory to God. Mighty he cometh to judgment ! for he shall judge the world in righteousness, and his people with his truth. Fear thee not, O man! for thy Redeemer liveth. He that died is risen, and he shall live to all eternity; and he shall reign, and shall conquer his enemies. I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience; for my sake thou hast endured affliction. Yet thy first and chiefest duty thou hast forsaken : and thou art fallen from thy high estate. Repent! and return to thy first work. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

2. For thine arrows stick fast in me : and thy hand presseth me sore.

sin. 4. For my wickednesses are gone over my

head : and are like a sore burden, too heavy for me to bear.

6. I am brought into so great trouble and misery : that I go mourning all the day long.

9. Lord, thou knowest all my desire : and my groaning is not hid from thee.

4. For the word of the LORD is true : and all his works are faithful.

5. He loveth righteousness and judgment : the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.

6. By the word of the LORD were the heavens made : and all the hosts of them by the breath of his mouth.

7. He gathereth the waters of the sea together, as it were upon an heap : and layeth up the deep, as in a treasure-house.

8. Let all the earth fear the LORD : stand in awe of him.

9. For he spake, and it was done : he commanded, and it stood fast.

12. Blessed are the people, whose God is the LORD JEHOVAH.

17. Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him : and put their trust in his mercy.

21. Let thy merciful kindness, O LORD, be upon us : like as we do put our trust in thee.

cxviii. 15. The voice of joy and health is in the dwellings of the righteous : the right hand of the Lord bringeth mighty things to pass.

xcvii. 10. O ye that love the LORD : see that ye hate the thing that is evil.

cxlvii. 6. The LORD setteth up the meek : and bringeth the ungodly down to the ground.

11. For the LORD's delight is in them that fear him : and put their trust in his mercy.

lxxxi. 20. Therefore will I praise thee and thy faithfulness, O God, playing on an instrument of music : unto thee will I sing upon the harp, 0 thou Holy One of Israel. Hallelujah. Amen.
