24. O LORD, how manifold are thy works wisdom hast thou made them all; the earth is full of thy riches.

25. So is the great and wide sea also.

26. There go the ships, and there is that Leviathan: whom thou hast made to take his pastime therein. 31. The glorious Majesty of the LORD shall endure for ever the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

ciii. 8. The LORD is full of compassion and mercy : long-suffering, and of great goodness.

9. He will not alway be chiding: neither keepeth he his anger for ever.

cxlvii. 3. He healeth those that are broken in heart and giveth medicine to heal their sickness.

ciii. 13. Yea, like as a father pitieth his own children even so is the LORD merciful unto them that fear him.

cvii. 8. O that men would therefore praise the LORD for his goodness and declare the wonders that he doeth for the children of men.

43. Whoso is wise will ponder these things: and they shall understand the loving-kindness of the LORD.

Glory be to the Father, &c.

As it was in the beginning, &c.

O LORD, I need not to repeat
What I do beg or crave;

For thou dost know, before I ask,
The thing that I would have.

Mercy, good LORD, mercy I ask,

This is the total sum;

For mercy, LORD, is all my suit;
O let thy mercy come.

O NEVER, never, bow me down

To the rude stock or sculptured stone,
But ever worship Israel's GOD,
Obedient to his awful nod.

We never, never, will bow down

To the rude stock or sculptured stone;
We worship GOD, and GOD alone.

[HANDEL.

ON thee each living soul awaits; from thee each joy, each blessing flows. Thou openest thine hand, thy bounteous hand, and all are filled with good. But when thy face, O LORD, is hid, with sudden terror they are struck; thou takest their breath away, they vanish into dust :-thou sendest forth thy breath again, and life with vigour fresh returns; revived earth unfolds new force and new delights.

Achieved is the glorious work; our song let be the praise of GOD. Glory to his Name for ever. He sole on high exalted reigns. Hallelujah.
