ISAIAH XXV.

1. O LORD, thou art my GoD, I will exalt thee; I will praise thy Name. Thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth; thou hast done wonderful things.

4. For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat.

Ps. xxxiii. 21. Our hearts shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy Name.

22. Let thy mercy, O LORD, be upon us : according as we hope in thee.

Is. xxv. 8. He will swallow up death in victory : and the LORD GOD shall wipe away tears from off all faces: the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth.

1 Cor. xv. 53. For this mortal must put on immortality.

34. Awake to righteousness, awake, and sin not: some have not the knowledge of GOD.

WISD. iii. 9. They that put their trust in him shall understand the truth.

O LORD, turn thy wrath away from us, for thy mercy's sake; call to mind no more, O our GoD, our former sins and wickednesses; look down with thy merciful eyes, and see we be thy people and thy pasture sheep. [BIRD.
