The MPE specimen presumably belongs to Henricia studeri , a species recorded several times in the Magellan - Falkland area . Abactinal spinelets occur in clusters of ten to twelve spinelets that each have a multifid vitreous tip .

The new species is most similar to Anisomysis kunduchiana Băcescu ( 1975 ) in the shape and armature of the telson recorded from coastal waters of Tanzania , but the latter differs in having two apical spines on the telsonic lobes .
