The Epiftle. Rom. 10.9.

F thou fhalt confefs with thy mouth the Lord Jefus, and fhalt believe in thine heart, that God hath raifed him from the dead, thou shalt be faved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteoufnefs, and with the mouth confeffion is made unto falvation. For the fcripture faith,Whofoever believeth on him shall not be afha med. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: For the fame Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whofoever shall call upon the name of the Lord fhall be faved. How then fhall they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how fhall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? And how fhall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach except they be fent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the Gofpel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the Gofpel. For Efaias faith,Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

But I

fay, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their found went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. But I fay, Did not Ifrael know? First Mofes faith,I will provoke you to jealoufie by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you.

But

Efaias is very bold, and faith, I was found of them that fought me not, I was made manifet unto them that asked not after me. But to Ifrael he faith, All day long! have ftretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainfaying people.

The Gofpel. S. Matth. 4. 18.

Efus walking by the fea of Galilee, faw two brethren, Simon called Peter and Andrew his brother, cafting net into the fea: (for they were fishers) And he faith hem, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of
