26 My fiefh, and eke my heart doth 12 Why doft thou draw thy hand a

WHy art thou (Lord) fo long from in all thefe dangers deep? (us, Why doth thine anger kindle thus, at thine own pasture sheep? 2 Lord, call thy people to thy thought,

which have been thine fo long. thine enemies roar, O God: They fet as figns on every wall,

their banners fplayd abroad.. As men with axes hew down trees, that on the hills do grow: So fhine the bils, & fwords of thofe, within thy Temple now. nor yet return with fhame; But let the poor and needy aye,

give praife unto thy Name. 23 Rife, Lord, let be by thee main

from heaven through ground; Then all the earth full fore afraid,

in filence shall be found. (ftand 9 And that when thou, O Lord, doft in judgements for to speak, To fave th afflicted of the land,

on earth that are full weak. 10The fury that on earth doth raign, fhall turn unto thy praife, Hereafter (Lord) do thou reftrain

and all men had their fills; Yet more and more they did defire

to ferve their lufts and wills. 30 But as y meat was in their mouth, his wrath upon them fell; 31 And flew the flower of all their and choife in Ifrael. Yet did they turn again to fin; and tempted God eft-foon, Prefcribing to the holy Lord, what things they would have done? 42Not thinking of his hand & power nor of the day when he, Delivered them out of the hands, of their fierce enemy. 43 Nor how he wrought his miracles (as they themselves beheld) In Egypt, and the wonders that he did in Zoan field. 44 Nor how he turned by his power, their waters into bloods That no man might receive his drink at river nor at flood. which he did love fo well. 69 Whereas he did his Temple build. both sumptuously and fure; Like as earth which he hath made for ever to endure.

70 Then chofe he David him to ferve, his people for to keep;

Whom he took up and brought away,
even from the folds of sheep.
As he did follow th'ews w young,
the Lord did him advance,
To feed his people Ifrael,

and his inheritance.

72 Then David with a faithfull heart, his flock and charge did feed, And prudently with all his pow'r, did govern them indeed.

PSAL. LXXIX. I.H.

God, the Gentiles do invade, thine heritage to spoil; Jerufalem an heap is made,

thy Temple they defile. 2 The bodies of thy Saints most dear, abroad to birds they caft; The flesh of them that do thee fear, the beaft devour and waft. 3 Their blood throughout Jerufalem, as water fpilt they have; So that there is not one of them,
