ANd it came to pafs, as Jefus went to Jerufalem, that he paffed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And when he faw them, he faid unto them Go fhew your felves unto the priests. And it came to pafs, that as they went, they were cleanfed. And one of them, when he faw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks; and he was a Samaritan. The Epistle. Gal. 6. 11.

E fee how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand. As many as defire to make a fair fhew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcifed;only left they fhould fuffer perfecution for the cros of Chrift. For neither they theinfelves who are circumcifed keep the law; but defire to have you circumcifed, that they may glory in your flefh. But God forbid that I should glory, fave in the crofs of our Lord Jefus Chrift,

by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. For in Christ Jefus neither circumcifion availeth any thing, nor uncircumcifion, but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Ifrael of God. From hence forth let no man trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jefus. Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jefus Chrift be with your fpirit. Amen.

The Gospel. S.Matth. 6.24.

O man can ferve two mafters: for either he will hate the one,and love the other; or elfe he will hold to the one,and defpife the other. Ye cannot ferve God and Mammon. Therefore I fay unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye fhall eat, or what ye fhall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye fhall put on: is not the life more then meat, and the body then raiment ? Behold the fowls of the air; for they fow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them: Are ye not much better then they? Which of you by taking thought can add cne cubit unto his ftature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Confider the lilies of the field how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I fay unto you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arayed like one of thefe. Wherefore if God fo clothe the grafs of the field, which to day is,and to morrow is caft into the oven; fhall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, faying, What shallwe eat?or what fhall we drink? or wherewithal fhall we be clothed? (for after all these things do the Gentiles feek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all thefe things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God,and his righteoufnefs, and all these things fhall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow fhall take thought for the things of it felf: fufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

The Epiftle. Ephef.3.13.

Defire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, I my knees which is your glory. For this cause I bowe unto the Father of our Lord Jefus Chrift, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that he would grant you according to the riches of his glory,to be ftrengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man:That Chrift may dwell in your hearts by faith;that ye being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all faints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; and to know the love of Chrift, which paffeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulnefs of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, unto him be glory in the Church by Christ Jefus, throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
