VV Hen Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea,
working of his power. Unto me, who am lels then the least of all faints,is this grace given that I thould preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; and to make all men see, what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places, might be known by the Church the manifold wisdom of God, according to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord. In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. The Gospel. S. Matth.2.1,
, y in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise-men from the east to Jerusalem, saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews ? for we have seen his star in the east and are come to worship him. When Herod the king had heard these things he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them, where Chrift ihould be yorn. And they faid unto him, In Bethlehem of Judea : For thus it is written by the prophet , And thou Bethehem in the land of Juda , art not the least among the princes of Juda. For out of thee shall come a Goverlour that shall rule my people Ifrael. Then Herod when he had privily called the wise-men, enquired of hem diligently what time the star appeared. “And he ent them to Bethlehem, and said, G5, and search diligently for the young child, and when ye have found tim, bring me word again, that I may come and worship

And being warned of God in a dream that they ihould not return toHerod, they departed into their own countrey another way. The first Sunday after the Epiphany.

Befeech rou therefore brethren, by the mercies of
God, that ye present your bodies a living facrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world;buc be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly then he ought to think, but to think foberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office; so we being many are one body in Christ and every one members one of another

And it came to pass that after three days they found him in the teniple, litting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers. And.when they saw him, they were amazed : and his mother said unto him, Son,why hast thou thus dealt with us?behold, thy father and I have fought thee forrowing. And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought nie? wist ye not that I must be about my fathers business? And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them. And he went down with them, and came to Nazareth, and was subject unto them: but his mother kept all these sayings in her heart. And Jesus increased in wisdom, and stature, and in favour with God and man.
