The Collect. ) Lord Jefu Chrift, who at thy first coming didit send

thy messenger to prepare thy way before thee : irant that the ministers and įtewards of thy mysteries

may likewise so prepare and make ready thy way, byl turning the hearts of the disobedient to the wisdom o the just, that at thy second coming to judge the world, we may be found an acceptable People in thy sight. who livest and reignest with the Father and the holy Spirit, ever one God, world without end. Et a man so account of us, as of the ministers of

Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man b found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of mans judgement yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by my self, yet am I not hereby justified; but he that judi eth me, is i he Lord. · The Collect. O Lord, raise up (we pray thee) thy power, and

come among us and with great might succour us ; hat whereas through our fins and wickedness we are core let and hindred in running the race that is set before is, thy bountiful grace and mercy may speedily help und deliver us, through the satisfaction of thy Son our ord; to whom with thee and the holy Ghost be holour and glory, world without end. Amen.

The Epistle. Phil.4.4. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing: but in every hing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let Pour requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding, shall keep your earts and minds through Christ Jesus.
