2 Cor. 13.14. He grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love
with us all evermore. Amen. 9 Here endeth the Order of Evening Prayer throughout
qupon these Feafts, Christmas-day, the Epiphany, Saint Matthias, Easterday, Ascension-day, Whitsunday, Saint John Baptist, Saint James, Samt Bartholomew Saint Matthew, Saint simon and Saint Jude Saint Andrew, and upon Trinity-Sunday, Mall be fung or faid at, Moriring Pra;ır, in stead of the Apostles Creed, this Confeffion of our Chriftian Faith, commonly called the Creed of Saint Athanafius, by the Minister and people stanäing:
necessary that he hold the Catholick Faith. i Wich Faith, except every one do keep whole and rundeled : without doubt he shall perif everlastingly,
Ad the Catholick Faith is this: That we worship one fod in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity:
Nither confounding the persons: nor dividing the fubfince. hi , Fa there is one person of the Father, another of the Son: and another of the Holy Ghost. 1. Bit the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is allone : the Glory equal,the Majesty iro-eternal.
Such as the Father is, such is the son: and such is e Holy Ghost.
The Father uncreate, the Son uncrcate : and the Ho & Chofiwcreate
The Father incomprehensible, the Son-incomprehen. fible: and the Holy Ghost incomprehensible.
the The Father eternal, the Son eternal: and the Holy Ghost eternal.
tha And yet they are not three eternals: but one eternal.
Je As also there are not three incomprehensibles,nor three uncreated; but one uncreated, and one incom- tha prehensible.
Ma So likewise the Father is Almighty,the Son Almighty: and the Holy Ghost Almighty.
the And yet they are not three Almighties : but one AH
So the Father is God, the Son is God: and the Holy
inf So likewise the Father is Lord,the Son Lord: and the Holy Ghost Lord;
two And yet not three Lords: but one Lord.
For like as we are compelled by the Christian erity but to acknowledge every person by himself to be God and Lord ;
by So are we forbidden by the Catholick Religión : to
į say, There be three Gods, or three Lords.
Go The Father is made of none: neither created, or be gotten.
rol The Son is of the Father alone: not made, no crea ted, but hegotten.
The Holy Ghost is of the Father and of the Soi; neither made, nor created, nor begotten, but proceeciig.
So there is one Father, not three Fathers; one Son bol not three Sons: one Holy Ghost,not three Holy Ghok
And in this Trinity none is afore or after other: no is greater, or less then another;
But the whole three persons are co-eternal togetha and co-equal.
So that in all things as is afcresaid: the Unity in T *ity, and the Trinity in Unity is to be worshipped.
len He therefore that will be saved : must thus think of
the Trinity. idFurthermore, it is necessary to everlasting falvation :
that he also believe rightly the Incarnation of our Lord na Jesus Christ. 2 For the right Faith is, that we believe and confess : olthat our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and
he God of the substance of the Father, begotten before the worlds: and Man of the substance of his mother, born in the world ;
Perfet God, and perfect Man: of a reasonable soul, fand humane flesh sublifting;
Equal to the Father, as touching his Godhead : and inferiour to the Father, as touching his Manhood. it Who although he be God, and Man : yet he is not two, but one Christ;
One; not by conversion of the Godhead into flelh : ribut by taking of the manhood into God; a
One altogether; not by confusion of substance : but by unity of person. :
For as the reasonable soul and flesh is one man : fo God and man is one Christ. 1 Who suffered for our salvation : defcended into hell, rose again the third day from the dead.'
He ascended into heaven,he fitteth on the right hand of the Father, God Almighty: from whence he shall icome to judge the quick and the dead. 113 At whose coming all men shall rise again with their Sbodies: and shall give account for their own works. hy And they that have done good, shall go into life eiverlasting : and they that have done evil, into everlafting fire.
This is the Catholick Faith: which except a man believe faithfully, he cannot be saved. 1 Glory be to the Father and to the Son : and to the
