¶ Then shall be read diftinctly with an audible voice the first Lesson, taken out of the Old Testament, as is appointed in the Kalendar (except there be proper Leffons affigned for that day:) He that readeth fo ftanding, and turning himself as he may belt be heard of all Juch as are prefent. And after that, shall be faid or sung in English, the Hymn called, Te Deum laudamus, daily throughout the year.

Note, that before every Leffon, the Minifter fhall fay, Here beginnerh fucha Chapter, or Verfe of fuch a Chapter of fuch a Book: And af ter every Leffon, Here endeth the firit or the fecond Leffon.

VVE praise thee, O God: we acknowledge thee

to be the Lord.

All the earth doth worship thee:theFathereverlasting. To thee all Angels cry aloud: the heavens, and all the powers therein.

To thee Cherubin,and Seraphin: continually do cry,
Holy, holy, holy: Lord God of Sabaoth.

Heaven and earth are full of the Majesty: of thy glory.
The glorious company of the Apostles: praife thee.
The goodly fellowship of the Prophets: praife thee.
The noble army of Martyrs: praise thee.
