Then thou spakeft in Vifion to the Holy One, and faidft, I have laid help upon one that is mighty, I have exalted one chofen out of the People.

Tis a good Thing to give Thanks unto the Lord, and to fing Praifes unto thy Name, O Moft High.

To fhew forth thy loving Kindness in the Morning, and thy Faithfulness every Night.

Upon an Inftrument of ten Strings, and upon the Pfaltery; upon the Harp with a folemn Sound.

For thou, Lord, haft made me glad through thy Work: I will triumph in the Works of thy Hands.

O Lord, how great are thy Works! and thy Thoughts are very deep.

A brutish Man knoweth not, neither doth a Fool underftand this.

When the Wicked spring as the Grafs, and when all the Workers of Iniquity do flourish; it is that they fhall be deftroyed for ever.

But thou, Lord, art moft high for evermore.

For lo, thine Enemies, O Lord, for lo, thine Enemies fhall perish; all the Workers of Iniquity fhall be scattered. The Righteous fhall flourish like the Palm Tree; he fhall grow like a Cedar in Lebanon.

Those that be planted in the Houfe of the Lord, fhall flourish in the Courts of our God.

They fhall ftill bring forth Fruit in old Age; they shall be fat, and flourishing:

To fhew that the Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no Unrighteoufnefs in him.

himfelf: The World alfo is 'ftablished, that it cannot be moved.

Thy Throne is established of old: Thou art from everlafting.

The Floods are lifted up, O Lord, the Floods have lifted up their Voice, the Floods lift up their Waves.

The Lord on high is mightier than the Noife of many Waters, yea, than the mighty Waves of the Sea.

Thy Teftimonies are very fure: Holinefs becometh thine Houfe, O Lord, for ever.


Come, & let us fing unto the Lord: Let us make a joyful Noife to the Rock of our Salvation.

Let us come before his Prefence with Thanksgiving, and make a joyful Noife unto him with Pfalms.

For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all Gods,

In his Hand are the deep Places of the Earth: The Strength of the Hills is his alto.

The Sea is his, and he made it; and his Hands formed the dry Land.

O come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

For he is our God, and we are the People of his Pafture, and the Sheep of his Hand: To Day if ye will hear his Voice,

Harden not your Hearts as in the Provocation, and as in the Day of Temptation in the Wilderness.

O fing unto the Lord a new Song: Sing unto the Lord, all the Earth.

Sing unto the Lord, blefs his Name; fhew forth his Salvation from Day to Day.

Declare his Glory among the Heathen, his Wonders among all People.

For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all Gods.

For all the Gods of the Nations are Idols; but the Lord made the Heavens.

Honour and Majefty are before him; Strength and Beauty are in his Sanctuary.

Give unto the Lord, O ye Kindreds of the People, give unto the Lord Glory and Strength.

Give unto the Lord the Glory due unto his Name; bring an Offering, and come into his Courts.

O worship the Lord in the Beauty of Holinefs; fear before him all the Earth.

Say among the Heathen, that the Lord reigneth: The World alfo fhall be eftablished that it fhall not be moved; he fhall judge the People righteously.

Let the Heavens rejoice, and let the Earth be glad let the Sea roar, and the Fulnefs thereof.

Let the Field be joyful, and all that is therein: Then fhall all the Trees of the Wood rejoice

Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the Earth He fhall judge the World with Righteoufnefs, and the People with his Truth.

The Lord reigneth, let the Earth rejoice, let the Multitude of Ifles be glad thereof.

Clouds and Darknefs are round about him; Righteoufnefs and Judgment are the Habitation of his Throne.

The Heavens declare his Righteousness, and all the People fee his Glory.

Confounded be all they that ferve graven Images, that boaft themfelves of Idols. Worfhip him all ye Gods. Zion heard, and was glad, and the Daughters of Judab rejoiced becaufe of thy Judgments, O Lord.

For thou, Lord, art high above all the Earth; thou art exalted far above all Gods.

Rejoice in the Lord, ye Righteous, and give Thanks at the Remembrance of his Holiness.

The Lord hath made known his Salvation, his Righteoufness hath he openly fhewed in the Sight of the Heathen. He hath remembred his Mercy and his Truth towards the House of Ifrael: All the Ends of the Earth have feen the Salvation of our God.

Make a joyful Noife unto the Lord, all the Earth: Make a loud Noife, and rejoice and fing Praise.

Sing unto the Lord with the Harp; with the Harp, and the Voice of a Pfalm.

With Trumpets and Sound of Cornet, make a joyful Noife before the Lord the King.

Let the Sea roar, and the Fulness thereof; the World, and they that dwell therein.

Let the Floods clap their Hands: Let the Hills be joyful together

Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the Earth + With Righteoufnefs fhall he judge the World, and the People with Equity.

The Lord reigneth, let the People tremble: He fitteth between the Cherubims, let the Earth be moved.

The Lord is great in Zion, and he is high above all People.

Let them praise thy great and terrible Name, for it is holy.

The King's Strength alfo loveth Judgment, thou doft eftablish Equity, thou executeft Judgment and Righteoufnefs in Jacob.

Exalt ye the Lord our God, and worship at his Footstool, for he is holy.

Exalt the Lord our God, and worship at his holy Hill for the Lord our God is holy.


Make a joyful Noife unto the Lord, all ye Lands. Serve the Lord with Gladness; come before his Prefence with Singing.

Know ye that the Lord he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we our felves; we are his People, and the Sheep of his Pasture.

Enter into his Gates with Thanksgiving, and into his Courts with Praife; be thankful unto him, and bless his Name.

For the Lord is good; his Mercy is everlafting: And his Truth endureth to all Generations.

The Lord executeth Righteoufnefs and Judgment for all that are oppreffed.

He made known his Ways unto Mofes, his A&s unto the Children of Ifrael.

The Lord is merciful and gracious, flow to Anger, and plenteous in Mercy.

He will not always chide; neither will he keep his Anger for ever.

He hath not dealt with us after our Sins, nor rewarded us according to our Iniquities.

For as the Heaven is high above the Earth, fo great is his Mercy toward them that fear him.

As far as the Eaft is from the Weft, fo far hath he removed our Tranfgreffions from us.

Like as a Father pitieth his Children, fo the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

For he knoweth our Frame, he remembreth that we are Duft.

As for Man, his Days are as Grafs: As a Flower of the "Field, fo he flourisheth.

For the Wind paffeth over it, and it is gone; and the Place thereof fhall know it no more.

But the Mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him: And his Righteousness untu Childrens Children.

To fuch as keep his Covenant, and to those that remember his Commandments to do them.

The Lord hath prepared his Throne in the Heavens : And his Kingdom ruleth ever all.
