Ecclef. xi. 8 If a Man live many Years, and rejoyce in them all; yet let him remember the DAYS of DARKNESS, for they fhall be maný. All that cometh is VANITY.

9 Rejoyce, O YOUNG MAN, in thy in the Days of thy Youth, and walk YourH, and let thy Heart cheer thee in the Ways of thy Heart, and in the Sight of thine Eyes: but know thou, that for all THESE THINGS GOD Will bring thee into JUDGMENT

Pjal. xxxix. 4 LORD, make me to know mine END, and the MEASURE of my DAYS, what it is: that I may

know how FRAIL 1 am.

s Behold, thou haft made my Days as an HAND-BREADTH, and mine Age is as NOTHING before thee: ve

rily every Man at his BEST STATE is altogether VANITY.

Pfal. lxxxi. 13 O that my People had HEARKNED unto me, and Ifrael

had WALKED in my WAYS!

33 Their Wine is the Poifon of Dragons, and the cruel Venom of Afps.

34 Is not this laid up in Store with me, and fealed up among my Treasures?

35 To me belongeth Vengeance and Recompence, their Foot fhall flide in due time for the Day of their Calamity is at hand, and the Things that shall come upon them make hafte.

36 For the LORD fhall judge his People, and repent himfelf for his Servants; when he feeth that their Power is gone, and there is none fnut up, or left.

37 And he fhall fay, Where are their Gods, their Rock in whom they trufted?

38 Let them rife up and help you, and be your Prote

Єtion.

39 See now that I, even I am he, and there is no God with me I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal neither is there any that can deliver out of my Hand.

40 For I lift up my Hand to Heaven, and say, I live for

ever.

41 If I whet my glittering Sword, and mine Hand take hold on Judgment; I will render Vengeance to mine Enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

42 I will make mine Arrows drunk with Blood (and my Sword fhall devour Flesh) and that with the Blood of the Slain, and of the Captives, from the Beginning of Revenges upon the Enemy.

43 m REJOYCE, O ye Nations, with his People: for he will avenge the Blood of his Servants, and will render VENGEANCE to his Adverfaries, and will be merciful unto his Land, and to his People.

44 And Mofes came and fpake all the Words of this Song in the Ears of the People, he and Hofhea.

in Rom. XV. 8 JESUS CHRIST was a

Minifter of the Circumcifion for the
MISES made unto the Fathers:

Truth of GOD, to CONFIRM the PRO

9 And that the GENTILES might GLORIFY GOD for his MERCY; as it is

written, For this Caufe I will confefs to thee among the Gentiles and SING unto thy NAME.

10 And again he saith, REJOYCE ye GENTILES with his PEOPLE.

II And again, PRAISE the LORD

all ye GENTILES, and LAUD him all ye People.

45 And Mofes made an end of speaking all these Words to all Ifrael:

46 And he faid unto them, Set your HEARTS unto all the Words which I teftify among you this Day; which ye fhall command your CHILDREN to obferve to do, all the Words of this Law.

47 For it is NOT a VAIN Thing for you because it is your LIFE; and through this Thing ye fhall prolong your Days in the Land whither ye go over Jordan to poffefs it.

48 And the LORD fpake unto Mofes that felf-fame Day, faying,

49 Get thee up into this Mountain Abarim, unto Mount Nebo, which is in the Land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold, the Land of Canaan, which I give unto the Children of Ifrael for a Poffeffion.

50 And die in the Mount whither thou goest up, and be gathered unto thy People; as Aaron thy Brother died in Mount Hor, and was gathered unto his People:

51 Because ye trefpafled against me among the Children of Ifrael, at the Waters of Meribah Kadefh, in the Wildernefs of Zin; becaufe ye fanctified me not in the midst of the Children of Ifrael.

2 Yet thou fhalt fee the Land before thee, but thou Thalt not go thither unto the Land which I give the Children of Ifrael.

2 " And he faid, The LORD came from SINAI, and rofe up from Seir unto them; he SHINED forth from Mount Paran, and he came with Ten thousands of Saints: from his Right Hand went a FIERY LAW for them.

3 Yea, he loved the People; all his Saints are in thy Hand and they fat down at thy Feet; every one fhall receive of thy Words.

4 Mofes commanded us a Law even the Inheritance of the Congregation of Jacob.

5 And he was King in Jefhurun, when the Heads of the People, and the Tribes of Ifrael were gathered together.

6 Let Reuben live, and not die; and let not his Men be few.

26 There is none like unto the GoD of Jefhurun, who rideth upon the Heaven in thy Help, and in his Excellency on the Sky.

thy REFUGE, and underneath are the everlasting Arms: and he fhall thrust out the Enemy from before thee, and fhall fay, Deftroy them.

28 Ifrael then fhall dwell in Safety alone: the Fountain of Jacob fhall be upon a Land of Corn and Wine, alfo his Heavens fhall drop down Dew.

29 Happy art thou, O If rael who is like unto thee, O People faved by the LORD, the Shield of thy Help, and who is the Sword of thy Excellency and thine Enemies fhall be found Liars unto thee, and thou fhalt tread upon their high Places.

SA FATHER of the Fatherlefs, and a JUDGE of the Widows, is GOD in his HOLY HABITATION.

17 The CHARIOTS of GOD are TWENTY THOUSAND, even THOUSANDS

18 Thou haft ASCENDED ON HIGH, thou hast LED CAPTIVITY CAPTIVE: thou haft received GIFTS for MEN;

yea, for the REBELLIOUS also, that the LORD GOD might DWELL among

them.

34 ASCRIBE ye STRENGTH unto GoD: his EXCELLENCY is over ISRAEL, and his STRENGTH is in the CLOUDS.

Dan, vii. 9 I beheld, till the THRONES were caft down, and the ANCIENT of DAYS did fit, whofe Garment was white as Snow, and the Hair of his Head like the pure Wool: his THRONE was like the FIERY FLAME, and his Wheels as burning Fire.

IO A FIERY STREAM iffued, and came forth from before him: THOU SAND THOUSANDS MINISTRED unto him, and Ten thousand times Ten thoufand stood before him: the JUDGMENT was SET, and the Books were OPENED.

This is the Land which and unto Jacob, faying,

will give it unto thy Seed: I have caufed thee to fee it with thine Eyes, but thou fhalt not go over thither.

5 So Mofes the Servant of the LORD died there in the Land of Moab, according to the Word of the LORD. 6 And he buried him in a Valley in the Land of Moab, over against Beth-peor :

Jude 9 Michael the Archange when contending with the Devil, he difputed about the Body of Mofes.

9 And Jofhua the Son of Nun was full of the Spirit of Wifdom; for Mofes had laid his Hands upon him and the Children of Ifrael hearkned unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Mofes.

10 And there arose not a Prophet fince in Ifrael like unto Mofes, whom the LORD knew Face to Face:

11 In all the Signs and the Wonders which the LORD fent him to do in the Land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his Servants, and to all his Land.

12 And in all that mighty Hand, and in all the great TerFor which Mofes fhewed in the Sight of all Ifrael.
