1. When the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

2. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us; but if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

3. If we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another; and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth from all sin.

2. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

3. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread; and your labour for that which satisfieth not; Hearken diligently unto me and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

4. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live.

[blocks in formation]

1. And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of Hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

2. Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

3. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of Man cometh.
