Ps. 84. 11. The Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Ps. 92. 12. The righteous shall flourish like the palmtree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth

Ps. 97. 10. He preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

Ps. 112. 1. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the right shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever. Unto the upright there ariseth light in darkness. 5 -10.

Ps. 119. 119. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. Pr. 3. 1. My son, forget not my law; but let thy heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace shall they add to thee. Pr. 10. 2. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing : but righteousness delivereth from death. The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked. 9. He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known. 25. As the whirlwind passeth, so is the wicked no more: but the righteous is an everlasting foundation. 29. The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. The righteous

Pr. 11. 17. The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh. The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward. As righteousness tendeth to life: so he that pursueth evil pursueth it to his own death. They that are of a froward heart are abomination to the Lord: but such as are upright in their way are his delight. Though hand join in hand the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered. 31. Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.

Pr. 13. 6. Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner. 21. Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous, good shall be repaid. A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

He that walketh righteously, and speak. eth uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.
