thren. For, this is the Meffage, that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.

b. Ye your felves are taught of God, to love one another. And this Commandment have we from him, That he, who loveth God, love his Brother alform of grou od svod.

c. If a Man fay, I love God, and hateth his Brother, he is a Liar: For, he that loveth not his Brother, whom he hath feen, how can he love God, whom he hath not feen?

d. If God fo loved us, that he fent his Son, to be the propitiation for our Sins, we ought alfo to love one another.

a. This is my Commandment (faith our Saviour) that ye love one another, as I have loved you. And by this shall all Men know, that ye are my Difciples, if ye have Love one to another.

b. Owe no Man any thing, but to love one another: For he that loveth another, hath fulfilled the Law. For this, thou shalt not commit Adultery; thou shalt not kill; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not bear false Witness; thou shall not covet: and if there be any other Commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this Saying; namely, thou shalt love thy Neighbour as thy felf.

buc. Love Worketh no ill to his Neighbour; therefore Love is the fulfilling of the Law. The end of the Commandment is Charity: out of a pure Heart, and of a good Conscience, and of Faith unfeigned.

d. Let our Love be without Diffimulation. e. Let us not love in Word, neither in Tongue, but in deed, and in truth.

f. See that ye love one another, with a pure Heart, fervently; and with Love unfeigned.

a. Above all things, have fervent Charity, among your felves: For Charity shall cover the multitude of Sins.

b. Let Brotherly Love continue.

c. The Lord make you to encrease, and abound in Love, one towards another, and towards all Men.

d. A Man that hath Friends, must shew himfelf Friendly: For there is a Friend that sticketh closer than a Brother.

e. Thine own Friend, and thy Father's Friend, forfake not.

f. The Stranger that dwelleth with you, fhall be unto you as one born amongst you, and thou fhalt love him as thy felf.

g. Ye have heard that it hath been said by them of old time, thou shalt love thy Neighbour, and hate thine Enemy; but Christ faith unto you, love your Enemies: For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye ? what do you more than others? Do not even the Publicans the fame? For Sinners also love those that love them.

b. Thou shalt not bear any grudge against the Children of thy People. Grudge not one against another, Brethren, left ye be condemned; behold the Judge ftandeth before the Door,
