THAT this felection from the first three volumes of the American Preacher, may be purchafed at a cheap rate, and thus have a more general spread and usefulness, all the fermons before meetings of the clergy are omitted, except one by the late President Witherspoon. A few excellent difcourfes on doctrinal and practical subjects are also left out, as other fermons on the fame fubjects of equal merit have been lately published in Britain. If this felection meets with the expected encouragement, another volume will be published when fufficient materials are received from America.
