[Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice, Matt. xxvi. 34. And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice, Mark xiv. 30. Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say

unto thee, The cock shall not crow till thou hast denied me thrice, John xiii. 38.]

VER. 35.

And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece, Luke ix. 3. Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes and salute no man by the way, x. 3, 4. And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves :
