Victory over the Devil.
1 John v. 18. We know that whofoever is born of GOD finneth not, but he that is begotten of GOD keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him

XII. STRENGTH, COURAGE, and RESOLUTION.
Ifa. xii. 1. Behold God is my falvation; I will truft, and not be afraid; for the LORD JEHOVAH is my ftrength and my fong, he alfo is become my falvation.
Ifa. xl. 29. He giveth power to the faint and to them that have no might, he increafeth ftrength.
Ver. 30. Even the youths fhall faint and be weary, and the young men fhall utterly fall.
Ver. 31. But they that wait upon the LORD fhall renew their strength: they fhall mount up with wings as eagles, they fhall run and not be weary, and they
fhall walk and not faint.
Ifa. xlii. 3. A bruised reed fhall he not break, and
the fmoaking flax he shall not quench; he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.
PS. xxix. 11. The LORD will give ftrength unto his people, the LORD will bless his people with peace.
Pf. xxxi. 24. Be of good courage, and he fhall ftrengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.
Pf. Ixviii. 35. O GOD, thou art terrible out of thy holy places: the GOD of Ifrael is he that giveth ftrength and power unto his people.
Zech. xii. 8. In that day the LORD fhall defend the inhabitants of Jerufalem, and he that is feeble among them at that day, fhall be as David, and the houfe of David fhall be as GOD, as the angel of the LORD before them.
Job xi. 15. Thou shalt be ftedfaft, thou fhalt not fear. I. XXXV. 3. Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
Ver. 4. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, be ftrong, fear not: Behold your GOD will come with vengeance, even GOD with a recompençe, he will come and fave you.
Zech. x. 12. I will strengthen them in the LORD, and they fhall walk up and down in his name, faith the LORD.
2 Cor. xii. 9. My grace is fufficient for thee; for, my strength is made perfect in weakness.
Joel iii. 16. The LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Ifrael. 2 Tim. i. 7. GOD hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a found mind.
XIII. FRUITFULNESS, and Increase of GRACE.
P. i. 3. He fhall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that
bringeth forth his fruit in his feafon his leaf alfo shall not wither, and whatsoever he doth shall profper.
Jer. xxxi. 12. They fhall come and fing in the height of Zion, and fhall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock, and of the herd: and their foul fhall be as a watered garden, and they shall not forrow any more at all.
Hof. xiv. 5. I will be as the dew unto Ifrael: he fhall grow as the lilly, and caft forth his roots as Le
Ver. 8. I am like a green fir tree, from me is thy fruit found.
John xv. 2. Every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.
Ver. 5. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the fame bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing.
2 Pet. i. 8. If these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye fhall neither be barren, nor unfruitful, in the knowledge of our LORD Jefus
P. xcii. 14. They fhall bring forth In Old Age. fruit in old age: They fhall be fat and flourishing.
Job xvii. 9. The righteous alfo fhall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands fhall be ftronger
Increafe of Grace.
Pf. lxxxiv. 7. They go from ftrength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before GOD.
Pf. xcii. 12. The righteous fhall flourish like the palm-tree he fhall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
Prov. iv. 1. The path of the juft is as the fhining light, that fhineth more and more unto the perfect day.
Mal. iv. 2. But unto you that fear my name, shall the Sun of Righeoufnefs arife with healing in his wings and ye fhall go forth, and grow up, as calves of the stall.
Mat. xiii. 12. Whofoever hath, to him fhall be given, and he shall have more abundance.
Fam. iv. 6. But he giveth more grace; wherefore he faith, GOD refifteth the proud, but he giveth grace unto the humble.
If. xi. 6. The wolf alfo fhall dwell The Grace of with the lamb, and the leopard fhall Meekness. lie down with the kid; and the calf, and the young lion, and the fatling, together, and a little child fhall lead them.
Ver. 7. The cow and the bear fhall feed, and their young ones fhall lie down together and the lion shall eat ftraw like the ox.
Ver. 8. And the fucking child fhall play upon the hole of the afp, and the weaned child fhall put his hand on the cockatrice den.
Ver. 9. They fhall not hurt nor deftroy in all my holy mountain; for the earth fhall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the fea.
XIV. GRACE to PERSEVERE.
John x. 28. And I will give unto them eternal life, and they fhall never perith, neither fhall any pluck them out of my hand.
Ver. 29. My Father that gave them me is greater than all, and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
John xvii. 11. Holy Father, keep through thine own name thofe whom thou haft given me, that they may be one, as we are.
Rom. viii. 38. I am perfuaded, that neither death,
nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things prefent, nor things to come,
Ver. 39. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, fhall be able to feparate us from the love of GOD, which is in Christ Jefus our LORD.
I Cor. i. 8. Who fhall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our LORD Jefus Christ.
2 Cor. i. 21. He which stablifheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God.
Phil. i. 9. Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you, will perform it until the day of Jefus Christ.
1 Theff. v. 23. I pray GOD your whole spirit and foul, and body, be preferved blameless unto the coming of our LORD Jefus Christ.
Ver. r. 24. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
2 Theff. iii. 3. The LORD is faithful, who fhall establish you, and keep you from evil.
2 Pet. i. 10. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election fure; for if ye do these things, ye fhall never fall.
1 Pet. i. 5. Who are kept by the power of GOD through faith unto falvation.
Prov. 1. 25. The righteous is an everlasting foundation.
Jude 24. Unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultlefs before the prefence of his glory with exceeding joy.
