PROMISES OF SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS IN THIS LIFE.

PSAL

I. In general.

SAL. xxv. 10. All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth, unto fuch as keep his covenant, and his teftimonies.

Ver. 24. The fecret of the LORD is with them that fear him, and he will fhew them his covenant. Eph. i. 3. Bleffed be the GOD and Father of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, who hath bleffed us with all fpiritual bleffings in heavenly places in Chrift.

Ver. 4. According as he hath chofen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy, and without blame before him in love.

Ver. 7.-According to the riches of his grace; Ver. 8. Wherein he hath abounded towards us in all wisdom and prudence.

Gal. vi. 16. As many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Ifrael of God.

Rom. viii. 30. Whom he did predeftinate, them he alfo called; and whom he called, them he alfo justified and whom he juftified, them he alfo glorified.

In the LORD fhall all the feed of If. rael be juftified, and fhall glory.

If. liii. 11. By his knowledge fhall my righteous fervant justify many: for he shall bear their iniqui

ties.

Ezek. xxxvi. 25. I will sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean; from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

Rom. iii. 24. Being juftified freely by his grace,, through the redemption that is in Jefus Chrift.

Rom. v. 1. Being juftified by faith, we have peace: with GOD, through our LORD Jefus Chrift.

Ver. 9. Being juftified by his blood, we fhall be: faved from wrath through him.

Ver. 18. By the righteoufnefs of One, the free gift: came upon all men unto juftification of life.

Ver. 19. For by the obedience of One, shall many be made righteous.

Rom. viii. 1. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Chrift Jefus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Ver. 33. Who fhall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that juftifieth.

Ver. 34. Who is he that condemneth? It is Chrift that died; yea, rather that is rifen again, who is even at the right hand of GOD, who alfo maketh interceffion for us..

2 Cor. v. 21. He hath made him to be fin for us, who knew no fin: that we might be made the righteoufnefs of God in him..

Ads. xiii. 39. By him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Tit. iii. 7. That being juftified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Pardon of Sin.

Ex. xxxiv. 7. Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity, and tranfgreffion, and fin.

Pf. lxv. 3. As for our tranfgreffions, thou shalt purge them away.

Pf. ciii. 9. He will not always chide, neither will he keep his anger forever.

Ver. 10. He hath not dealt with us after our fins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

Ver. 11. As the heaven is high above the earth, fo great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

Ver. 12. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our tranfgreffions from us.

Pf. cxxx. 4. There is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayeft be feared.

Ver. 8. He fhall redeem Ifrael from all his iniquities.

Ifa. xxxiii. 24. The inhabitants shall not fay, I am fick; the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.

I. xliii. 25. I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy tranfgreffions for mine own fake, and will not remember thy fins.

If. xliv. 22. I have blotted out as a thick cloud thy tranfgreffions, and as a cloud thy fins : return unto me, for I have redeemed thee.

Hof. xi. 8. Mine heart is turned within me, my repentings are kindled together.

Ver. 9. I will not execute the fiercenefs of mine anger, I will not return to.destroy Ephraim.

Mic. vii. 18. Who is a GOD like unto thee, that

pardoneth

pardoneth iniquity, and paffeth by the tranfgreffion of the remnant of his heritage? He retaineth not his anger forever, because he delighteth in mercy.

Ver. 19. He will turn again, he will have compaffion upon us he will fubdue our iniquities thou wilt caft all their fins into the depths of the sea. Heb. x. 17. Their fins and iniquities will I remem

ber no more.

Pf. xxxii. 1. Bleffed is he whofe tranfgreffion is forgiven, whofe fin is covered.

Ver. 2. Bleffed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whofe fpirit there is no guile.

Fer. xxxi. 34. I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their fin no more.

Heb. viii. 12. I will be merciful to their unrighteoufnefs, and their fins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Matth. xii. 31. All manner of fin and blafphemy fhall be forgiven unto men.

Ver. 32. And whofoever speaketh a word against the Son of Man, it fhall be forgiven him.

Luke vii. 47. Her fins, which are many, are forgiven for fhe loved much.

Ver. 48. And he faid unto her, thy fins are forgiven.

Of the most heinous Sins.

Of all Sins.

If. i. 18. Though your fins be as fcarlet, they fhall be as white as fnow; though they be red like crimfon, they fhall be as wool.

Pf. ciii. 3. He forgiveth all thine iniquities; he healeth all thy difeafes.

Jer. xxxiii. 8. I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have finned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities

Ezek. xxxiii. 16. None of his fins that he hath committed, fhall be mentioned unto him.

Fer. iii. 12. Return, thou backfliding Ifrael, faith the LORD, and Of Backflidings. I will not caufe mine anger to fall

upon you.

Ver. 22. Return, ye backfliding children, and I will heal your backflidings.

Hof. xiv. 4. I will heal their backslidings, I will love them freely.

Ifa. liii. 5. He was wounded for our tranfgreffions, he was bruifed for our iniquities: The chaftisement of our peace was upon him, and

with his ftripes we are healed.

Ver. 6. All we like fheep have gone aftray, we have turned every one to his own way, and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Zech. xiii. I. In that day there fhall be a fountain opened to the house of David, and to the inhabitants of Jerufalem, for fin and for uncleannefs.

Matt. i. 21. He fhall fave his people from their fins. Acts xiii. 38. Through this man is preached unto you the forgivenefs of fins.

Eph. i. 7. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of fins, according to the riches of his grace.

Gal. i. 4. Who gave himself for our fins.

1 Tim. i. 15. This is a faithful faying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Jefus Chrift came into the world to fave finners.

I Cor. xv. 3. Chrift died for our fins, according to the fcriptures.
