Deut. xxvi. II. And thou fhalt rejoice in every good thing, which the LORD thy GOD hath given unto thee, and unto thine house.

Deut. xxviii. 3. Bleffed fhalt thou be in the city, and blessed fhalt thou be in the field.

Ver. 4. Bleffed fhall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle; the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Ver. 5. Bleffed fhall be thy basket and thy ftore. Ver. 6. Bleffed fhalt thou be when thou comest in, and bleffed fhalt thou be when thou goeft out.

Ver. 8. The LORD fhall command a blefling upon thee in thy ftore-houses, and in all that thou fetteft thine hand unto: And he fhall bless thee in the land, which the LORD thy GOD giveth thee.

Eccl. v. 19. Every man, to whom GOD hath giv en riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of GOD.

XIII. A BLESSING upon the CHILDREN of the Good.

Deut. iv. 40. Thou fhalt keep his ftatutes-that it may go well with thee, and thy children after thee, Deut. v. 29.

Prov. xiii. 22. A good man leaveth an inheritance unto his children's children; and the wealth of the finner is laid up for the just.

Prov. xiv. 26. In the fear of the LORD is ftrong confidence; and his children fhall have a place of refuge.

Prov. xi. 21. The feed of the righteous fhall be delivered.

Prov. xx. 7. The juft man walketh in his integrity His children are blessed after him.

XIV. A BLESSING upon the FAMILIES of the Good.

Job v. 24. Thou shalt know alfo that thy tabernacle fhall be in peace; and thou fhalt vifit thy habitation, and fhalt not fin.

Job viii. 6. If thou wert pure and upright, furely

I. In general.

JOB

OB v. 19. He fhall deliver thee in fix troubles; yea, in feven, there fhall no evil touch thee.

Pf. xxxi. 13. The LORD preferveth the faithful. Pf. xxxii. 6. For this fhall every one that is godly pray unto thee, in a time when thou mayeft be found Surely in the floods of great waters they fhall not come nigh unto him.

Ver. 7. Thou art my hiding place, thou fhalt pre

ferve me from trouble: Thou fhalt compass me about with fongs of deliverance.
