1 John iii. 14. We know, that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren: he that loveth not his brother, abideth in death.

Ver. 18. My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed and in truth. Ver. 19. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and fhall affure our hearts before him.

1 John iv. 12. If we love one another, GOD dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Pf. xv. 1. LORD, who fhall abide in thy tabernacle? Who fhall dwell in thy holy hill?

Ver. 4. He in whofe eyes a vile perfon is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD.

P. xli. 1. Bleffed is he that confidereth the poor ; the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

Ver. 2. The LORD will preferve him, and keep him alive, and he shall be blessed upon the earth and thou wilt not deliver him into the will of his enemies.

Ver. 3. The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing; thou wilt make all his bed in his fickness.

Pf. cxii. 9. He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn fhall be exalted with honour.

Ver. 7.-GOD loveth a cheerful giver.

2 Cor. viii. 12. If there be firft a willing mind, it is accepted according to what a man hath, and not according to what he hath not.

1 Tim. vi. 17, 18. Charge them that are rich in this world—that they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to diftribute, willing to communicate.

Ver. 19. Laying up in ftore for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.

Heb. xiii. 16. To do good, and to communicate, forget not; for with fuch facrifices GOD is well pleafed.

2 Cor. ix. 8. GOD is able to make all grace to abound towards you, that ye always having all fufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. Ver. 10. Now he that miniftreth feed to the fower, both minifter bread for your food, and multiply your feed fown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness.

Gal. vi. 6. Let him that is taught in the word, communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
