God a Defence.

48. God is the Defence of his People. Num. xiv. 9. Their Defence is departed from them, and the Lord is with us, fear them not.

2 Kings

2 Kings xix. 34. The Lord faid, I will defend this City to fave it, for mine own Sake, and for my Servant David's Sake.

Job xxii. 23. If thou return to the Almighty, thou fhalt be built up. Ver. 25. Yea the Almighty fhall be thy Defence.

Pf. v. 11. Let those that put their Truft in thee rejoice, because thou defendeft them.

vii. to Our Defence is of God, who faveth the upright in Heart. xx. 1. The Lord hear thee in the Day of Trouble, the name of the God of Jacob defend thee.

Redemption.

49. God a Redeemer. If. xli. 14 Fear not, I will help thee, faith the Lord thy Redeemer.

xlvii. 4. As for our Redeemer, the Lord of Hofts is his Name.
