Ver. 16. He fhall dwell on high, his flace of Defence shall be the Munition of Rocks, Bread shall be given him, his Water shall be sure. Ixiv. 5. Thou meeteft him that rejoiceth and worketh Righteoufnefs, thofe that remember thee in thy Ways.

Ezek. xiv 14. Though Noah, Daniel and Job were in the City, [devoted to Destruction for Iniquity] they should deliver but their own Souls by their Righteoufnefs, See Gen. 7 1.-18. 23.

xviii. 20. The Righteoufnefs of the Righteous fhall be upon him. Ver. 22. In his Righteousness that he hath done, he shall live.

Mal. iii. 18. Ye shall difcern between the Righteous and the Wicked: 10. The Righteous fhall be delivered from Enemies. Pl. xxxiv. 21. They that hate the Righteous fhall be defolate.

Zech. xiv. 12. This hall be the Plague wherewith the Lord will fmite all the People who have fought against Jerufalem, their Flesh fhall confume away while they ftand upon their Feet, and their Eyes fhall confume away in their Holes, and their Tongue fhall confume away in their Mouth.

11. The Death of the Righteous bleffed. Num. xxiii. 10. Let me die the Death of the Righteous, and let my last End be like his.

Prov. xiv. 32. The Righteous hath Hope in his Death.

Matt. xiii. 43. The Righteous fhall fhine forth, as the Sun, in the Kingdom of their Father.

Unrighteousness.

13. Unrighteousness forbidden. Rom. vi. 13. Neither yield ye your Members as Inftruments of Unrighteoufnefs unto Sin, but yield your felves unto God as those that are alive from the Dead, and your Members as Inftruments of Righteousness unto God.

2 Cor. vi. 14. What Fellowship hath Righteoufnefs with Unrighteoufnefs? What Communion hath Light with Darkness ?

14. Threats against the Unrighteous. Deut. xxvi. 16. All that do ununrighteously are an Abomination to the Lord.

Job xxvii. 7. Let mine Enemy be as the Wicked, and he that rifeth up againft me as the Unrighteous.

Rom. i. 18. The Wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all Ungodlinefs and Unrighteoufnefs of Men.

Ver. 29. Being filled with all Unrighteoufnefs, Fornication, Wickedness, &c.

Ver. 34. They who commit fuch Things are worthy of Death.

Zeal.

16. Zeal a Duty. Gal. iv. 18. It is good to be zealously affected in a good Thing.

Tit. ii. 14. Chrift gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all Iniquity, and purify unto himself, a peculiar People, zealous of good Works.

Integrity.

Perfection.

23. Perfection a commanded Duty. Gen. xvii. 1. The Lord faid unto Abraham, I am the Almighty God, walk before me and be thou perfect. Deut. xviii. 13. Thou fhallt be perfect with the Lord thy God.

Matt. v. 48. Be ye perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is perfect.

Rom. xii. 2. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your Minds, that ye may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect Will of God.

2 Cor. vii. 1. Let us cleanse ourselves from all Filthinefs of Flesh and Spirit, perfecting Holinefs in the Fear of God.

John xvii. 23. 1 in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one.

2 Cor. xii. 9. My Grace is fufficient for thee, my Strength is made perfect in Weaknefs.

Col. ii. 10. Ye are complete in him, viz. Christ.

26. The holy Scriptures a Mean of Perfection.

2 Tim. ii. 16. All

Scripture is given by Infpiration of God, and is profitable for Doctrine, for Reproof, for Correction and Infruction in Righteousness.

Ver. 17. That the Man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished

to all good Works.

Pf. cxix. 11. Thy Word have I hid in mine Heart, that I might not fin against thee. See Gal. 3. 3. see the Spirit's Influence upon all Chriftians.

27. The Minifry. Eph. iv. 11. He gave Apoftles, Prophets, Evangelifts, Paftors and Teachers.

Ver. 12. For the perfecting of the Saints.

Ver. 13. Till we all come in the Unity of the Faith, and of the Knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect Man, unto the Measure of the Stature of the Fulness of Christ.
