Chrift's Works.

E created all Things. John i. 3. All Things were made by him, without him was not any Thing made. Rev. viii. 29, 30. Ver. 10. The World was made by him.

1 Cor. viii. 6. By whom are all Things.

Eph. iii. 9. God created all Things by Jefus Chrift.

Col. 1. 16. By him were all Things created, that are in Heaven, and that are in Earth, vifible and invifible, whether they be Thrones or Dominions, Principalities or Powers, all Things were created by him and for him, and he is before all Things, and by him all Things confift.

Heb. i. 2. By him God made the Worlds.

Ver. 10. Thou, Lord, in the Beginning laid the Foundations of the Earth, and the Heavens are the Works of thine Hands. Ver. 11.—

2. Chrift fhall raife the Dead. John x. 18. Jefus faid, I have Power to lay down my Life and to take it again. Ch. 2. 19. 21.

v. 21. As the Father raiseth the Dead and quickeneth them, even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

Ver. 25. The Hour is coming, and now is, in the which all that are in their Graves fhall hear the Voice of the Son of God, and they that hear fhall live.

Chrift

3. Chrift will change the Bodies of Mankind. Phil. iii. 21. fhall change our vile Body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious Body, according to the working of his mighty Power, whereby he is able even to fubdue all Things to himself. See 1 Cor. 15.

51, 52.

4. Chrift fhall judge the World. Ifa. xi. 3. He fhall not judge after the Sight of his Eyes.

Matt. xxiv. 30. They fhall fee the Son of Man coming in the Clouds of Heaven with Power and great Glory.

Ver. 31. He shall fend his Angels with the Sound of a Trumpet,

Ver. 32. Before him shall be gathered all Nations, and he shall feparate them one from another, as a Shepherd divideth the Sheep from the Goats.

Ver. 33. He fhall fet the Sheep on his right Hand, but the Goats on the left.

John v. 22. The Father hath committed all Judgment to the Son. Ver. 27. He hath given him Authority to execute Judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

Acts x. 42. The Apoftles faid, Jefus commanded us to preach unto the People and to teftify, that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of the Quick and Dead.

xvii. 31. God hath appointed a Day in which he will judge the World in Righteoufnefs, by that Man whom he hath ordained (Jefus Chrift.)

5. Chrift will difpence fuitable Rewards and Punishments to all Mankind. Matt. xvi. 27. The Son of Man shall come, then fhall he reward every one according to his Works. Rom. 4. 10.-2 Cor. 5. 10.Gal. 6. 7, 8-Rev. 22. 12. See God will render to Men according to their Works, in Chap. upon good Works.

6. Rewards from Chrift to the Righteous. Matt. xxv. 34. To them on his right hand, he will fay, Come, ye Bleffed of my Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the Foundation of the World.

Ver. 35. For I was an hungred and ye gave me Meat, I was thirsty and ye gave me drink, I was a Stranger and ye took me in.

Ver. 36. Naked and ye cloathed me, I was fick and

I was in Prifon and ye came unto me.

Ver. 40. Verily I fay unto you, in as much as ye have done it unto one of the leaft of these my Brethren, ye have done it unto me. Ver. 46. The Righteous fhall go into life eternal. Ver. 36 to 40. xiii. 43. Then fhall the Righteous fhine forth as the Sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Dan. 12. 3. As the Brightness of the Firmament and as the Stars for ever and ever.

xix. 28. Jefus faid, ye that have followed me in the Regeneration, when the Son of Man fhall fit upon the Throne of his Glory, ye alfo fhall fit upon twelve Thrones, judging the twelve Tribes of Ifrael. (1 Cor. 6. 2.) Do you not know that the Saints fhall judge the World, that we fhall judge Angels? Luke 22. 30.

Ver. 29. Every one that hath forfaken Houses, or Brethren, or Sifters, or Father, or Mother, or Wife, or Children, or Lands, for my Name's fake, fhall receive an hundred-fold, and fhall inherit everlafting Life. Luke 18. 29, 30.

ye may eat and drink at my Table, &c. Col. iii. 4. When Chrift who is our Life fhall appear, then shall ye alfo appear with him in Glory.

vii. 17. The Lamb which is in the midft of the Throne fhall feed them, and shall lead them unto living Fountains of Waters, and God fhall wipe away all Tears from their Eyes. See being glad, rejoicing in the Lord.

xi. 18. Thy Wrath is come, and the time of the Dead that they fhould be judged, and that thou shouldft give a Reward unto thy Servants the Prophets, and unto the Saints, and unto them that fear thy Name, small and great.

7. Punishments inflicted on the Wicked by Chrif. Matt. vii. 22. Many will fay to me in that Day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy Name, and in thy Name caft out Devils, and in thy Name done many wonderful Works. Luke 13. 26. We have eaten and drunk in thy Presence, and thou haft taught in our Streets.

Ver. 23 And then will I profefs unto them, I never knew you depart from me, ye that work Iniquity.

xiii. 40. As the Tares are gathered and burned in the Fire, so shall it be in the End of the World.

Ver. 41. The Son of Man fhall fend forth his Angels, and they fhall gather out of his Kingdom all Things that offend, and them which do Iniquity.

Ver. 42. And fhall caft them into a Furnace of Fire, there fhall be Wailing and Gnashing of Teeth. Ver. 49, 50.

xxv. 32. Before the Son of Man fhall be gathered all Nations, and he fhall separate them one from another, as a Shepherd divideth the Sheep' from the Goats.

Ver. 33. And he thall fet the Sheep on his right Hand, but the Goats on the left.

Ver. 41. Then fhall he fay to them on the left Hand, depart from me, ye curfed into everlafting Fire, prepared for the Devil and his Angels.

Ver. 43. I was a Stranger, and ye took me not in, naked and ye clothed me not, fick and in Prison, and ye vifited me not.

Matt. x. 11. Jefus fent forth his Disciples, and faid unto them, into whatsoever City or Town ye fhall enter.

Ver. 14. If they fhall not receive you, nor hear your Words when ye depart, fhake off the Duft of your Feet.

Ver. 15. Verily I fay unto you, it shall be more tolerable for the Land of Sodom and Gomorra in the Day of Judgment, than for that City. Mark viii. 38. Whofoever fhall be ashamed of me, and of my Words, in this adulterous and finful Generation, of him alfo fhall the Son of Man be afhained when he cometh in the Glory of his Father, with the Holy Angels. See Threats against Chorazin, and Bethfaida. Matt. 11. 20. 22. Againft Capernaum. Matt. 11. 23, 24. Against the impenitent Hearers of Chrift. Matt. 12.41, 42.

Luke iii. 43. He will gather the Wheat into his Chaff he will burn with Fire unquenchable.

Garner, but the

John xii. 48. He that rejecteth me, hath one that judgeth him, the Word that I have spoken, the fame fhall judge him at the last Day.

1 Theff. v. 2. The Day of the Lord fo cometh as a Thief in the Night.

Ver. 3. For when they fhall fay Peace and Safety, then fudden Deftruction cometh upon them, and they fhall not escape.

2 Theff. i. 7. The Lord Jefus Christ shall be revealed from Heaven, with his mighty Angels.

Ver. 8. In flaming Fire, taking Vengeance on them that knew not God and obey not the Gofpel of our Lord Jefus Christ.

Ver. 9. Who fhall be punished with everlasting Destruction, from the prefence of the Lord, and from the Glory of his Power.

ii. 8. The Wicked one, (or Man of Sin) the Lord will confume with the Spirit of his Mouth, and shall deftroy with the Brightness of his coming. Rev. 17. 8.

2 Pet. ii. 4. God fpared not the Angels that finned, but caft them down to Hell, and delivered them into Chains of Darkness, to be referved unto Judgment. Ver. 6. 14. 15.

2 Pet. ii. 9. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of Temptation, and to referve the unjuft unto the Day of Judgment, to be punished.

Ver. 10 But chiefly, them that walk after the Lufts of Uncleanness, and defpife Government.

Rev. vi. 14. The Heavens departed as a Scrowl.

Ver. 15. And the Kings of the Earth, and the great Men, and the rich Men, and the chief Captains, and the mighty Men, and every Bondman, and every Freeman hid themselves in the Dens, and in the Rocks of the Mountains.

Rev. vi. 16. And faid to the Mountains and Rocks, fall on us, and hide us from the Face of him that fitteth on the Throne, and from the Wrath of the Lamb.

Ver. 17. For the great Day of his Wrath is come, and who fhall be able to ftand?

xi. 18. Thy Wrath is come, and the Time that thou shouldst destroy them, that deftroy the Earth.

XX. 14. Death and Hell were caft into the Lake of Fire, this is the fecond Death.
