Here is Recorded marlborough ould burring-feeld may 23-1737 ye Suruay of the Buring field in marlborough viz ye ould Burring field and I find four acres & 46 Rods & bounded as followeth and all parties Concarned being Present and begun att ye Draw Barss and runs northerly with Capt Thomas Amsdens Land 15 Rods to a heap of Stons: then angling a little & Runs 18 Rod to a heap of Stons then Runs easterly by the Land of Thomas How: angling by mark trees & Staks 20 Rod to a heap of Stons, then 20 Rod to a heap of Stons then angles a Little and Runs Six Rods & half by Sd How & part by the Land of James Brown: then Runs Southerly angling by a highway & ye Land belonging to the Heirs of mr William Thomas to where it begun. Suruayed by James Keys may ye 23 1737 the Return of this on the other side being four acres & 46 Rods Is the most Easterly Buring Place in marlborough Called the ould Buring Place: was made the Day of the Date aboue gd and was accepted Attest William Ward moderator and Entered: here may ye 24-1737 by Abraham Williams Clerk (Burial place in W. laid out Nov. 7, 1729.) ? |
