2. What is diffusion of gases ? Describe any simple experiment by 50 which you would demonstrate it, and state the law which governs it.

3. How would you determine the composition of atmospheric air by 50 eudiometer ? Give reason for stating that air is a mechanical mixture and not a chemical compound.

4. What are the halogens ? Describe the preparation and properties 50 of Iodine, and give the tests for Iodine in the free state and in combination as Iodide.
