About the author (2005)

Mary Buddemeyer-Porter grew up on a small farm in northern Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Maryville University, St. Louis and her Master of Art in Teaching from Webster University, St. Louis. She is a lecturer, educator, television producer, regional Emmy-nominated songwriter and creator of the "Land of Music" music education series produced by Note Family, Inc. A perpetual pet owner, she began doing the research for the writing of "Will I See Fido In Heaven?" in 1988 after becoming aware of Scripture explaining that animals have eternal life. Mary is the mother of two grown children and the grandmother of five grandchildren. She and her husband Ron currently live in West St. Louis County. St. Louis, MO.
