ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF OFFERINGS Offerings are asked to sustain missions in twenty-six missionary districts in the United States, Africa, China, Japan, Mexico and Cuba; also work in the Haitien Church and in Brazil; in forty dioceses, including missions to the Indians and to the Colored People; to pay the salaries of twenty-eight bishops, and stipends to 1,530 missionary workers, and to support schools, hospitals and orphanages.
