Joh. vi. the hip and immediately the ship was at the Land whither they went. * And they were fore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondred. HE day following, when the people which stood on the other fide of the fea, faw that there was none other boat there, fave that one whereinto his difciples were entred, and that Jefus went not with his difciples into the boat, but that his difciples were 23. gone away alone: (Howbeit there came other boats from Tiberias, nigh unto the place where they did eat bread, af ter that the Lord had given thanks.) 24. When the people therefore faw that Je fus was not there, neither his difciples,

for the meat that perifheth, but for that
meat which indureth unto everlasting
life, which the fon of man fhall give un-
to you: for him bath God the Father

Then faid they unto him, What fshall 28.
we do, that we might work the works
of God?

Jefus answered and faid unto them, 29.
This is the work of God, that ye
on him whom he bath fent.

They faid therefore unto him, What 30,
Sign fheweft thou then, that we may
fee and believe thee? What doft thou
work? Our fathers did eat manna in 31.
the defert; as it is written, "He gave
"them bread from heaven to eat. [Pfal.
lxxviii. 24.]

Then Jefus faid unto them, "Verily 32.
verily, I fay unto you,
Mofes gave
you not that bread from heaven, but
my Father giveth you the true bread
"from heaven. For the bread of God 33.
"is he which cometh down from hea-
