Luke 22. 22.

unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it 20 I? And he answered and said unto them, It is one of 21 the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish. The & Matt. 26. 24. Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

37 ἀπ ̓ ἐμοῦ τοῦτο· ἀλλ ̓ οὐ τί ἐγὼ θέλω, ἀλλὰ τί σύ. καὶ ἔρχεται καὶ εὑρίσκει αὐτοὺς καθεύδοντας, καὶ λέγει τῷ Πέτρῳ, Σίμων, καθεύδεις; οὐκ ἴσχυσας μίαν ὥραν γρη38 γορῆσαι ; γρηγορεῖτε καὶ προσεύχεσθε, ἵνα μὴ εἰσέλθητε 41 εἰς πειρασμόν. τὸ μὲν πνεῦμα πρόθυμον, ἡ δὲ σὰρξ ἀσθε39 νής. Καὶ πάλιν ἀπελθὼν προσηύξατο, τὸν αὐτὸν λόγον 42 40 εἰπών. καὶ ὑποστρέψας εὗρεν αὐτοὺς πάλιν καθεύδοντας ̇ 43 ἦσαν γὰρ οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ αὐτῶν βεβαρημένοι, καὶ οὐκ ᾔδει σαν τί αὐτῷ ἀποκριθῶσι.

Καὶ ἔρχεται τὸ τρίτον, καὶ λέγει αὐτοῖς, Καθεύδετε 45 τὸ λοιπὸν καὶ ἀναπαύεσθε. ἀπέχει, ἦλθεν ἡ ὥρα· ἰδοὺ παραδίδοται ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου εἰς τὰς χεῖρας τῶν 42 ἁμαρτωλῶν. ἐγείρεσθε ἄγωμεν· ἰδοὺ ὁ παραδιδούς με 46 ἤγγικε.

Καὶ εὐθέως, ἔτι αὐτοῦ λαλοῦντος, παραγίνεται Ἰούδας, 41 41 εἰς ὢν τῶν δώδεκα, καὶ μετ ̓ αὐτοῦ ὄχλος πολὺς μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων, παρὰ τῶν ἀρχιερέων καὶ τῶν γραμ44 ματέων καὶ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων. δεδώκει δὲ ὁ παραδιδοὺς 48 αὐτὸν, σύσσημον αὐτοῖς, λέγων, Ὃν ἂν φιλήσω, αὐτός 45 ἐστι· κρατήσατε αὐτὸν, καὶ ἀπαγάγετε ἀσφαλῶς. καὶ 49 41 ἐλθὼν, εὐθέως προσελθὼν αὐτῷ λέγει, Ραββὶ ῥαββί· 46 καὶ κατεφίλησεν αὐτόν· οἱ δὲ ἐπέβαλον ἐπ ̓ αὐτὸν τὰς 50 χεῖρας αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐκράτησαν αὐτόν.

Εἷς δέ τις τῶν παρεστηκότων σπασάμενος τὴν μάχαι- 51 50 ραν, ἔπαισε τὸν δοῦλον τοῦ ἀρχιερέως, καὶ ἀφεῖλεν αὐτοῦ 48 τὸ ὠτίον. Καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Ως 55 53 ἐπὶ λῃστὴν ἐξήλθετε μετὰ μαχαιρῶν καὶ ξύλων συλλαβεῖν 49 με; καθ' ἡμέραν ἤμην πρὸς ὑμᾶς ἐν τῷ ἱερῷ διδάσκων, καὶ οὐκ ἐκρατήσατέ με· ἀλλ ̓ ἵνα πληρωθῶσιν αἱ γραφαί. 50, 51 Καὶ ἀφέντες αὐτὸν πάντες ἔφυγον. καὶ εἷς τις νεανίσκος

ἠκολούθει αὐτῷ, περιβεβλημένος σινδόνα ἐπὶ γυμνοῦ· καὶ 52 κρατοῦσιν αὐτὸν οἱ νεανίσκοι· ὁ δὲ καταλιπὼν τὴν σινδόνα, γυμνὸς ἔφυγεν ἀπ' αὐτῶν.

And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.
